I visited the Reynoldsburg office and 6/26/10. I have been wearing glasses most of my adult life, I have had numerous eye exams, and never one that last 15 minutes. It was the worst exam I have ever had. My eyes were not even dialated. I came to Eyemart with the hopes of saving money and getting a quality exam. Well sorry to say that I left without new glasses and I could have went to my previous Eye specialist and paid the cost as usual for a better exam and a better selection of eyewear. When I asked about the specials that they advertise on TV, I was shown a shelf with about 25 pair of the worst looking glasses I have seen in a while, outdated frames from the 70s! The tech explained that these were the choices to choose from if I decided to use the plans advertised on TV. I left very disappointed in the entire visit. No discounts, No special buys. If you are a person who needs basic eyeglasses for reading or what have you, that is the place for you. The 2 pair for 117.00, is a steal if you find any of the eyewear appealing. Eyemart should give out a little more information on that commercial. Not all patients need reading glasses.

I purchased my glasses over 2 years ago. I walked in, a young lady asked if I needed help. I explained what I needed. She looked at them with a puzzled look & asked if I purchased them there. I replied yes. Instead she walks over to another employee & showed them to her and asked her if these were theirs. The other lady said go look her up? Why didnt she do that in the first place instead of making me out to be a liar. That is how I felt. Once she saw that I was in their system she changed her attitude & began to fix my issue. I asked if I could have a lens replaced, she said no because the glasses were discontinued. I would have to purchase another pair. So I said okay and walked over to see some frames. Not once did the she come over to see if I wanted to purchased, one other employee with her voice raised telling another customer you dont need to buy that, you should wear your glasses at all times. If that lady wanted to buy something to hold her glasses let her. I was still standing there waiting for someone to come & attend to me. Finally I walked out. Behind me two of employees went out to smoke! So in a nut shell Im gone...

My husband and I stopped by in April 2017. We have been customers here for about 3 years. We recently had our eye exams (from another optometry location, not EyeMart Express) and went to Eyemart Express to get our new lens prescriptions updated in our current eyeglass frames. The young lady looked at both of our frames (we have had them less than 2 years) and after taking them in back to ask if they could put in our new lenses, was told that our frames were not in good enough shape to put in new lenses. Which by the way, we purchased from them. I did not believe them as we take very good care of our eyeglasses. I went to OSU optometry clinic and asked if they could put new prescription lenses in my current frame and was told no problem because my frames were in great condition. I think they lied because they wanted us to buy new frames and lenses, even though we didnt need new frames. On top of that, they were pretty unwelcoming and unfriendly to us!!!

By far the best experience have had in a long time in a retail setting. First i was in a pinch with broken frames and with ten minutes remaining before store closed they made it happen. Then Angela offered me one hell of a deal on the frames. I would tell you guys how much but you wouldnt believe me. So never being a customer there before i went ahead and cancelled my regular eye doctor appointment with my doctor and went with EyeMart. The doctor was friendly and courteous as possible and made my exam comfortable as could be. But because of Katherine aiding me in looking for frames as explaining everything to me and Angela closing the deal from the day before they earned my business from here on out. And by the way i got the frames i wanted and they were cheaper then the other optometrist i use to go to. I got 2 frames cheaper then 1 frame i got from the other place. One very happy customer here...Angela might be one of the nicest lady i have ever met.

I purchased my glasses 01/2012. Just recently the middle part of the lenses became darker than the outer perimeter. Also there is webbing within the lenses. I went into the Reynoldsburg location and got the worst service ever. I was told the webbing was scratches and clearly its not. I was also told they couldnt see the discoloration with the lenses. Because I didnt purchase a 1 year warranty I was told I could purchase new lenses for $134. I told them even if I has purchased the warranty that the lenses are supposed to last at least 2 years. One employee was talking at me and not to me and the other employee stopped helping her customers to tell me that I was disrupting her customer. I wasnt speaking loudly but I felt I had every right to do so. Im so upset Im about to call their corporate office and Im gonna find another place to get my eyeglasses from.

I was happy with their selection for the price. I was able to have an employee (Nina) help me through all parts of the process. She initially recommended a certain shape of frame and helped me find frames that fell in that category and fit what I was looking for. She was patient as I tried on MANY pairs and was honest with her opinions (as opposed to telling me everything looked good on my face). She helped curb my curiosity about how the glasses could be made so fast and clearly explained the sale/promotion they were doing. I felt no pressure, and was very happy with my experience! Glasses were made within 20 minutes. They had my try them on and checked that they fit! I got the glasses case and was out of there with a thorough explanation of the warranty and upgrade policy. Great service! Exactly what I was looking for!

The staff in this office was very unprofessional. They had conversations that should not be held at work or even in a place of business. I was told to hold while one receptionist answered her cell phone! The doctor was a nice man however a full eye exam should take longer than 20 minutes! He said he dialated my eyes and he didnt! I drove myself home after the not so through visit. He didnt even request to see me again to make sure the contacts that he put me in were a good fit! Further more an exam for glasses and contacts is not the same. However,he was able to write a script for both after a 20 minute visit. Lastly, I didnt run this thru my insurance I paid cash. And the visit came up to the same amount, so the discount is on care not price.
