Very disappointed with the follow up from the store. We bought couch and two chairs , bedroom set mattress and spring box … First the good. The bedroom set was decent for the price, although the boards that were supposed to hold the mattress and spring box gave way and broke (assuming that is the manufacturing error-still makes for a poor quality) Delivery was done (partial items) by an excellent team. Price for King mattress and spring box fair, quality good. The bad; Although we were told it would take couple weeks or so after we paid in full , 4 weeks went by to no update from AMFRT. When we called to check was told it would take another 2-3 weeks…finally we heard from the store with an update and telling us they still don’t have the full order but could make a delivery and when the rest of the items arrived will the second delivery. I did ask them to ensure that there will not be a second charge for the delivery (the delivery guy seemed to be an independent and he was willing to assume the cost) The gentleman I spoke with in the store asked when would be good to deliver and I asked to make sure first of all the delivery (the second one will not be my responsibility and then to confirm the delivery date/time) Never heard back from him and just few day out of the blue the delivery guys call to let us know they will be there in 30 minutes(!) had no idea they were coming. There you have it Price 3 * Quality 2-3* Service (excluding delivery) 1*

I actually thought I had gotten a great deal until I paid for my merchandise and the shenanigans began. I spent 1,000s of dollars in the store on the 4th of July, but when it was time for my furniture to be delivered I was given the run around. I waited for the delivery company to deliver my furniture, just to be told that I had been taken off the delivery list without any notice because one of the items I ordered were broken and I refused to take the next best thing in their inventory. When I spoke to Jessica (who claimed to be the manager), she was rude and outrageously confrontational. She spoke over me, yelled at me, and told me that I would be charged an additional delivery fee because they did not have a portion of my order in stock. She refused to refund the 1,000s I had just spent days before and refused to make any accommodations or exceptions. She continued to push me to settle for the piece of furniture I had previously passed on and when I refused, she became even more rude, insulting me and disconnecting the call while I was still on the line. I have never experienced this type of disservice and I dont have any intentions of shopping there again, and if I do not get my furniture delivered in a timely and mannerable fashion, I will be talking to my bank and taking my business elsewhere.

Im moving this summer and I came into the store looking to purchase living room furniture and a complete bed set with mattress. I was going to order and put a down payment on a bedroom set but my experience at this store caused me to walk out and take my business elsewhere. When I walked into the store the guy asked if I needed help and I told him I was just looking around and her proceeded to then around me what I was looking for. When I told him Im looking around trying to get ideas and that I would let him know if I need him, thats when the experience got bad and I had to walk out. The salesman literally followed me around through the entire store and he would not leave me alone. I do not like to be followed especially when I said I would come to you if I needed anything. I felt pressured and I felt very uncomfortable. I found a bedroom set that I love and want to buy but at this point I am ready to take my business elsewhere because of how one store associate made me feel. The kicker of it all was that as Im walking out the door he was following me towards the exit asking of there was anything he could do to get me to buy something as if my purchase determined the fate of his job or something. Not happy and very discouraged from now shopping at this store.

When attempting to receive a refund for a cancelled layaway I was given the complete run around for a month! I attempted several times to call the store only to be told incorrect information by several different staff members and then hung up on repeatedly. I was told that I could pick the check up from the store, then that it would be mailed to my house, then told again that it would be mailed to the store but that they had somehow lost the key to their mailbox and I would just have to wait until they found the key. I finally called the corporate office in Delaware where I found out that my check was in their office after being returned by the post office because they had the wrong address! The rep told me that she had left a message with the store two weeks ago, asking them to reach out to me to get the correct info. This store is very unprofessional and the staff are not educated on company policy and procedure

I finally got my furniture out of layaway. They was very friendly and helpful. The salesman told me my furniture would be delivery on Monday fro 12:00 til 4:00 pm. I am still sitting here waiting on my furniture to be delivered, it is 6:30pm. I start calling American Freight about 1:00pm, asking when are they going to deliver, they kept telling me the guy that deliverer the furniture will be here in 30min. We Are on his time, he is not here yet, he will deliver it today. Well Otis going on 7:00pm and it is night time now. I told the salesman that he should have told me upfront that he could not guarantee the time between 12:00 until 4:00 pm for deliver. Then I could have made other arrangement. It is Thankgiving. Holiday and I just sat my old couch outside and the trash man have picked it up. I have company coming in on Tuesday and no couch and love seat. I am very upset and disappointed.

Prices are reasonable but thats it. My mom got a bedroom set for my daughter they explained that it needed to be paid off at least a week in advance if we wanted to receive by a certain date. So we paid off 3 weeks in advance and had a pick up date they said no problem plenty of time to have in 3 weeks so we get there on that day and they have nothing but one thing. Uhhh we just moved and this is my daughters whole room so she has nothing now they say ok we will have for u in a couple days. Well that was a lie too we didnt get till about a week and half later and as we started unboxing we realized they forgot the box spring. This was absolutely ridiculous i will never go there again id rather pay more for decent service. Do not waste your time here. Horrible!!!

On Saturday we went a visited American Freight in Northfield in the Plaza. We have been wanting to pick up a full size box spring and mattress for our child. From the moment we walked in, Tony was super helpful and provided all the information that we needed. We were very pleased with our purchase and the level of customer service. American Freight we would surely visit again. They deliver on Sunday and unfortunately their sub contracted freight company had a break down on the highway. That didnt stop American Freight from delivering though. At the time promised a mini-van rolled up with a store employee and our new bed tied to the top. Boom! Great work and much appreciated. Our daughter was really happy when she got off work last night!!
