Worse place to get furniture ever!!! Paid $500 plus $65 for delivery....They took the payment no problem...But come time for delivery they didnt give us all the pieces we call and the guy asks if we can come pick up the pieces they didnt drop off....Uhhh no not unless you give the delivery money back.... So then we wait another day and a half for them to drop off the pieces they gave us too many pieces(which doesnt matter too me) then the slats dont fit in either of the boxes they gave us ...I pick the rails up and the nails had fallen out so now I have to put new screws in to hold it in place.... And THEN both the rails dont fit on the side my cousin can roll off of .....TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN!!!!!!

I was thinking about coming here to purchase furniture for my elderly parents. I like the way the furniture looked and definitely like the prices. As any good consumer would do I went to read the reviews. I wasnt so stunned by the negative remarks that I read seems normal complaints for furniture store but I did not like was the response from the store. Their responses seem to Negative and a little arrogant and condescending. Even if complaints or outlandish or in some cases even unbelievable it is the job of the retailer to remain professional. Not publicly post Condon sending remarks. It is because of this I will never walk through those doors.

I purchased one of the more expensive sectional couches from here in 2014. Even the more expensive couches are fairly cheap and for a good reason. Theyre not worth the money! In 3 years my couches look appalling. The cushions are completely sunk in. Im not a heavy person, I only weigh 120 pounds. I dont even use the couch that frequently. Im a very active person. Of course the manufacturer warranty is long expired. The material is also wearing down completely on the back of the couch and the couch cushion covers are tearing. Ive never seen anything like it. Its true you get what you pay for. I wish I went somewhere else.

My husband and I went to American Freight to price mattresses on a Sunday. The salesman was very helpful and we were able to choose one that fit our needs and budget. We left the store and came back a couple of hours later and purchased the new mattress and box springs. The delivered it that same day and took it up to the two flights of stairs to our room in the attic for a fee. It was well worth it. They did show up a little later than they said that they would be for the delivery...maybe better communication could be executed, but other than that, it was a good shopping experience!

I went in looking for furniture for a new apartment, specifically couches (sectionals). I was pleasantly surprised by this place! They have a great selection and a lot to choose from. The salesman I worked with (I believe his name is Dan but cant remember) was very friendly and helpful, but not pushy. They also deliver for cheap compared to other places. I found a sectional here for $800, which was cheaper than most other places I looked at. This is a great place for college students or recent college graduates, like myself, who want decent furniture for a reasonable price.

Went into the store looking for bedroom furniture. The prices were fantastic and we ended up buying a set of dressers and a set of nightstands. Customer service was great, JAKE did a great job balancing the multiple customers he was helping and was helpful without being overbearing. Thats how I like it! We bought one set on clearance, and then a matching set new from the back. The new set from the back was packaged without the screws to connect the handles to the drawers, but a quick phone call and they have a pack of flat-heads ready for us to pick up.

This is the second time ive purchased a mattress box spring from this place. Thwle first was a set that broke. Now i just purchased a replacement boxspring when i realized before was even got it off the car that it is broken, again. They didnt even notice that the box spring was broken when they tied it to my car or obviously did and just didnt give a damm because it was cold and they were trying to leave. I will never buy anything from that place again

I was looking for a good quality sectional sofa that was affordably priced, I have to say that I am not disappointed! I purchased my sofa about two months ago now and it is extremely comfortable. My living room looks amazing and my guests compliment me on the sofa all the time. No one believes that I got it for less than $700! I would definitely recommend this company and I will be returning to shop here for my next furniture purchase :)

My local store did not have the item I needed available. I called the Akron store and spoke with Mario, who assured me that the item was available and he would hold one for us. We drove to Akron the same day and Leroy greeted us. Both Mario and Leroy was friendly, pleasant, and helpful. We got our furniture loaded and left the store feeling that we got a great bargain and met some nice people in the bargain.

Dante hooked us up! Ive never had a better shopping experience ever. He was very very polite and such a gentlemen. The items we purchased werent in at the time but he made sure they got delivered to us on time and the date we needed them. I highly recommend everyone to check them out and if youd like even ask for Dante the manager! Hope this helped :)

I went to pick up my bedroom set that was nearly $2000.00 on february 14th, they said my 2 nightstands were out of stock and would be available in 7 days, it is now the 12th of march and I still havent gotten them! And I probably wont get them anytime soon. Employees are careless and unprofessional. Disappointed

Bought furniture from here a few years ago. Furniture immediately torn. They did replace the torn piece however still weeks later there were tears still on the replaced pieces. I ordered end tables that to date I have never received. Im looking for new furniture now but I refuse to come to this place.

Stopped by last night to look at mattresses. Salesman (Curtis) was extremely helpful. No pressure and answered all my questions. 2 hrs later, two very polite deliverymen showed up at my place with my purchase. Very positive experience overall.

As an update American Freight has offered to provide me with new furniture after the experience I have had in trying to use my warranty. I am waiting to hear back from the store and will edit my original post once I do.
