I got a mailer from Montrose Auto (which is apparently whom Frank sold the place to...) last week which had pull tabs and offered prizes if your number matched the prize number listed. Surprise Surprise, one of my numbers matched (if you read the fine print, everyone was a winner, just not of a valuable prize...). Ive gotten these mailers in the past, and normally I just discard my "winning" ticket because its pretty obvious Im being offered something rather worthless to stop by the dealership. This time, though, my number matched next to the picture of a new Flat-Screen TV, which piqued my interest. I thought "ok, if I won a TV, Ill head in to check this place out tomorrow..." So I did stop by the next day. When I got there, there was no one to help me (I was with two of my young children), and the room looked like a pretty shady place. Instead of finding someone to help me, there were several disgruntled looking people holding the same mailer I had received. After about 15 minutes of just standing there, and figuring out that I was most likely being scammed and not receiving a TV, I was approached by a salesman (wouldnt have known, as he was just dressed in a regular button-down shirt, like half of the other old gentlemen in the shady room...) who asked if I was there to look for a car. When I told him I was there to get my prize, he ushered me down a hallway, and gave me a piece of paper to fill out to enter to win a TV, and told me I had won a free lottery ticket (which won me precisely $0 and meant that I didnt even recoup the gas it cost me to get there, let alone the wasted afternoon time...). When I began to tell the man that my number was lined up next to the TV, he just hushed me and told me where the door was. If the company is run anything like its promotions department, there is nothing but deception and thievery going on at Montrose Auto. Warning to those who want to try to do business with them, that in my experience they are an awfully shifty and shady bunch to attempt to deal with in any meaningful fashion. It did provide me a valuable lesson to teach my kids about honesty as we went home discussing the fact that Daddy didnt win the TV even though the prize picture seemed to indicate that he did. I informed them that they should never run a business by dishonest practices.

Now knows as Munstrose Autocare, the place is filled up with wheeler-dealers. They recently ran an advertising campaign, where they sent a flier at your home saying that you have won something. When I visited there with my wife, the sales people started pushing us to buy a deal. They were not even pronouncing our names right, not listening to us, and were extremely rude. When we decided to leave, they started passing side comments and started pushing us to trade our car. It became quite uncomfortable. If you are interested in buying a car, I will suggest to not go to these too "desperate" folks. You will never know what exactly are you buying, and what kind of warranties and guaranties you are getting.

I recently bought my 04 GMC Sierra from Franks and it is the 3rd car I have purchased from them! I love dealing with the owners and not some sales person who doesnt care about me and is more worried about pushing out another unit. Whenever I go to Franks I feel like family and get treated as such. Franks is always fair on the trade...and I always feel like I got a good deal on the car Im buying. I do enjoy a good haggle session though ;). If youre in the market for a used car I definitely recommend considering Franks...Especially if youre looking for low mileage upscale vehicles...not just a beater that hasnt even been serviced or detailed like at most other used car lots youll find!

They try to put you in more car than you can afford. They wont sell cash, since they make more on payments. Cant recommend.
