When looking for the engagement ring for my girlfriend, now wife, the lady at the counter went to get the owner/manager when I had some queations about what was in the case. With his door open he loudly asked how much I was going to spend. The lady came out and nicely ask what my price range was and went back to him with the answer. Uppon hearing it he said, again with his door wide open, "that is not worth my time, he can look but I am not going to answer his questions". There was not another soul in the place and while I was not going to spend 10k it was over a thousand dollars I was looking to put down and would have done more if I had seen something I liked. Went to the place a few doors south and was treated exceptionally well, ended up buying engagment ring, both wedding rings, a watch for a grooms man, and got something repaired there as well. All said spent 10k, I guess Lyle does not need the money.

I brought in some scrap gold and was offered $190 (supposedly top dollar and market value). Two minutes later, I took the same scrap two doors down to La Placa and was offered $275. You can do better.
