I love Jo-Anns Fabrics & Crafts, this store is well laid out and has mostly nice wide aisles. - I just wish there was one MUCH closer than Mason, Evendale or Northgate... its plain ridiculous to have to drive so far... and I dont care about the website, I have to pay for shipping, cant buy a single skein/ball of yarn, has to always be multiples of 3 or more, same with the fabric too cant buy just one yard of fabric, have to always buy way more than I need online, so I dont shop online, which only leaves me to shop at Hobby Lobby and they dont have enough fabric selection, or Walmart - but same scenario - not enough selection. There are PLENTY of shopping plazas with large empty areas in both Hamilton and Fairfield Cities where a Jo-Ann for Butler County, Ohio could be!! I only stop at this location because ONCE per month my sister has a doctors appointment... but I still dont always stop even once per month, because it all depends on how she is feeling. But see if there was a local one, I could just stop in on the way BEFORE taking her to her appointment.

words cannot describe how awful this visit was. Only 1 super slow cashier with atleast 10 people in line waiting. same problem at the cutting table. I was just trying to buy a piece of foam for my couch and after waiting 20 minutes inline at the register i was told i needed to get a ticket from the cutting table (even though i wasnt getting it cut i was buying the whole thing) and then come to find out the price about the 3 yard slab of foam wasnt for the whole piece and was just a single yard! so $80.00 a yard! they wanted to charge me around $200.00 for couch foam!! i can buy a cheap couch for that! so after being there almost an hour i left with no foam and a head ache. will never go back

Ive shopped at this store several times and Ive had enough. There needs to be more signs hanging from the ceiling to help shoppers find their way around the store. The end of the aisles have fixtures to install signs, but many of them are empty. Its hard to find employees for assistance. Today I wandered around the store for 10-15 minutes looking for gift boxes for a few Christmas gifts I want to wrap. I finally found an employee and after re-tracing my steps with her, she confirmed what I already suspected...they are out of stock. December 11 and they have no gift boxes...what a joke. This is one of the worst managed stores in the area...I want go back.

I find the store to be neat and tidy, the staff is always helpful and friendly. Every once in a while, you get someone who doesnt want to follow the rules posted clearly around the cutting table, but its never the staffs fault. Ive found the fastest way to check out is to have everything ready before getting in line. Coupons or competitor prices? Have them up and ready to go before you get in line. The employees do their very best to make every transaction go as smoothly and quickly as possible. Ive also found the staff to be very knowledgeable about different projects Im working on. If I have a question about anything, I know I can always get an answer!

One of my favorite places to shop. Friendly staff, clean store and always a pleasure shopping there. My niece is pregnant with twins and I crochet so I spent a lot of time here over the last few months, the staff always was willing to any time I needed it and even helped with some ideas for items i could make! Absolutely love this store!

I am a fan of the products carried here and will not shop at the other large craft store that is closed on Sundays. I am not however a fan of the service here - specifically the checkout. No matter how many people are in the store, it takes a very long time to checkout. If they can improve that process, I would give a higher rating.

Its a clean and large store thats fairly well stocked. The problem is that they always run everything on 5-10% sales so you can never use the 50% that they send out. It seems to be pretty common practice with craft stores.

Theyre florescent lights are always blinking. I wonder if they ever change them. It makes it so I cant be in the store very long.
