I had gone to another nearby store which didnt have the phone I wanted in stock, so then I called around and this store claimed to have the right model with the right storage size in stock after they finally answered the phone (I called probably 5 times over 25 minutes because no one would answer and the call drops if you wait like 12 rings). With my dismal review you might suspect that when I got there they in fact did not have the correct phone in stock. I drove there immediately after calling so there was no significant time-lapse between my call and my visit. The store associate also hassled me to no end about changing to their Edge plan or whatever they started calling it to distance themselves from the unpopular "edge" name. Since I had already had this conversating 1 hour before and since I suspect their fervor is only due to some great commission they get on getting people into this plan, I was trying to cut it short but that is impossible and he still bugged me for about 5 minutes despite my being extremely clear that I had no interest and was certainly not going to change plans. Two hits is enough (and maybe another half hit for not answering their phones forever) and I am pretty sure I will not be going back to this store. I am pretty inclined to switch providers after another day or frustration which I think happens every time I have to interact with their stores.

Going to this store actually kind of helped me. I went in there yesterday with the sole intention of purchasing one of two phones. I had already done reviews and was ready to buy. However, the salesperson tried to use scare tactics and they worked. I left the store without purchasing any phones and have decided to wait out my contract until April and then switch to T-Mobile. According to him Verizon is changing away from contracts. If this is true and I upgrade my phone, my husband will be stuck with his phone for another two years (four total) without being able to get an upgrade. I am not being sarcastic when I say that I appreciate him scaring me. I think I would have been stuck with Verizon with no way to get a new phone for my husband if I would have bit the bullet and bought last night. Thanks to him I plan on switching to T-Mobile

I recently had problems with my first IPhone speaker. The Verizon employee sent for another one and told me to come back to the store. I took both phones back and the girl asked if I backed up the phone. I said no. She communicated nothing to me and didnt seem happy to be doing anything. All she showed me was how to get my apps back and managed to start my iCloud backup that resulted in an incomplete backup of all my pictures and data. Education is key. I left the store not knowing I should have either stayed within their wifi and waited for my pictures to backup or when I got home gone on wifi so it would continue. Now I have lost 300-400 memorable pictures and other data because the Verizon employee could not take the time to teach me, someone completely unfamiliar with iCloud, how to use the iCloud backup successfully.

This store which has now moved directly across the street is terrible! I go there for help and a solution to my phone woes and misfortune and they tell me to find a used phone on craigslist. I bought my first moto Droid at Sams club for 100$ new I think Im heading back to the Brooklyn store where the phones are about half the price and there arent 30$ restocking fees and 25$ charges to utilize my available upgrade. 1 star for terrible business practices and service.

Awful customer service. The people there knew their information very well. To a fault though. Our sales person was almost combative and was borderline demeaning to my wife and I. Another sales person was mid conversation with another customer and he had to pause mid conversation to laugh because he thought it was funny how the person helping us was being so rude. Never going there again.

LAST WEEK I WAS WAITED ON BY DAN YEAGER. IT WAS A LENGTHY TRANSACTION AND THE STORE WAS CLOSING. THIS YOUNG MAN DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN PROVIDING MY HUSBAND AND ME OUTSTANDING SERVICE. I WAS UNSATISFIED WITH THE PHONE I HAD AND HE DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO PROVIDE ME WITH A PHONE THAT I AM NOW COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH. GOOD JOB AND THANK YOU

I came into this store the day the Pixel came out and was able to get a Otter box without any problems and polite people helping me out. The rep was super nice and polite, only reason its not 5 stars is they didnt have the extra power cord I was looking to get for my phone, other than that, great experience and Im going back there today.

8/15/2012..I had a bad experience with one of the employee (Sieara). She gave me attitude and then she was trying to argue with me about something. I didnt want to make a scene so I asked for the supervisor on duty. After all, I got what I wanted with his help.I will never deal with this Sieara again.

This store is the worse Verizon store EVER employees are NOT nice at all manager dosent have a clue about customer relations I was treeted like a piece of TRASH so I say all employees should be (FIRED)not retrain because some animals cant train version please FIX THIS STORE

HUGE S/O to the employees of Verizon Wireless in Independence, Oh!! They got me together (after assisting me transfer 11,000+ photos) and they did it all with laughs and smiles!!!! Oh and I cant leave out the stores DJ!!!! Who played the dopest song tracks the entire time!

I had great service from this location Justin explained all my options in detail. He answered all my questions and helped me transfer all my info from my old phone to my new one. I have been a verizon customer for 29 years. I would recommend this store.

This is a corporate store and I always recommend a corporate store over a retailer. They are able to do more for you service wise. More knowledgeable. There can be long lines at this location because its a popular location, so try to go at an off time.

Ive been misled many time and waited long hours there just to get simple matters taken care of. I feel like everyone there is a snake trying to rip any money they can off you. They dont want to help you, they just want your money.

Just ignorant. Was atleast welcomed. Just needed a screen protector replaced. 45 minutes later, and 6 customers serviced who came in after me, i just walked out. They had over 8 employees working, and minimal customers.

Gave me a "new" phone with the box unsealed and unwrapped; "new" phone has a small scratch on the screen. Employees withheld free promotional gifts until I filed a complaint. Avoid if/when possible.

They literly do everything so slowly. If your going there expect to be there for over an hour and the guy with the beard that works there is a complete jerk and is very unknowlageable.
