I made a special pie order on Tuesday and they said the pies would be ready by Thursday afternoon. I asked if I came on Friday if that would be alright. They said that would be fine. They never put in the pie order. I traveled 45 minutes to get these pies for a special occasion. They had the bright piece of pink paper that they had wrote my order down on with my phone number, but didnt even bother to call me to let me know they forgot to place my order. I asked if I could have a pie half price since they messed up and I traveled so far and they said they would only give $3 off of a pie. If you want Stevens Pies go directly to the source (which I had to do after I left this store) Stevens Bakery and Orchard 7344 Thackery Road Springfield, Ohio. They people at Stevens are super nice and their pies are delicious, worth going out of the way for. I will never make another pie order from Paulus Butcher Shop or go to Paulus Butcher Shop ever again and neither will anyone in my family.
