I visited Lahodys for the first time Sat (5/10) to buy meat for Mothers Day and I was not disappointed. The ground Sirloin was great but the Chicken Spinach Swiss Cheese Brat and Regular Brat were the hit especially the Chicken Brat. I will be back and cannot believe I have not been before. PS The smoked pork chop I got was probably the best tasting and most tender we have ever tasted. Thanks Eric

This is the best butcher shop Ive ever been in! The selection of fresh-cut steaks, roasts, and specialty items is top-notch. The owner, Ron, is very knowledgeable and offers good preparation suggestions. My favorite item is Vivians ham salad....one taste and I was back in my mothers kitchen in the 60s. I hope Muncie supports this business. Weve been too long without a butcher shop like this.

A great local place to buy top quality meat and produce. The building is small but packed full of all sorts of selections from whole chicken to single breasts, to racks of ribs and cured meats. Ive always received fast and quality service, no matter what time of day I go.

I. Went there for the first time with my daughter and her husband. I really like how cozy it was and the prices was very fair. I think Ive found my meat market . By the way I am from Louisville, Ky. I plan to go there at least once a month.

Lahody Meats had very reasonable prices, not to mention an amazing group of employees. I make it in at least once a week. If you know anything about food, you know this is the type of place to get all of your meat.

The filets are better than any restaurant - cook them for 3 mins (and flip 3 times) and you will have a perfect medium rare. Matt is always there to give good cooking advice and cut any piece to size for you.

I found out about Lahodys from a good friend who had us over for steaks. This is just an all around great shop for top quality meats etc., and friendly sewrvice from a knowlegable staff. Give it a try.

Dont buy your meat anywhere else in Muncie. Best prices, more cuts, and awesome selection of more than just steak, burgers, ect. Lots of regular grocery items as well
