Ive never actually been to QM but Erics daughter, Alison, introduced me to what REAL bacon is all about. Every single time she brings me bacon, I consume it that very night -- regardless of what plans I may have had. As for the other reviews on here, its no surprise that the service is friendly and exceptional. The family is "good folk!" If I was still doing road trips between Chgo and Detroit, Id stop there on my way back with whatever supply of bacon they may have at the time.

Stopped in for the 1st time today the staff was very friendly and helpful. I picked up 5 lbs of soup bones, 5 lbs of sliced pork belly, 1 lb of bacon and 2 roasting chickens. Quality and freshness are outstanding and the prices are great. I will be going back regularly from now on. Update: I have been back several times now and its always the same, great service, great people, great quality and great prices! By the way, they make bacon in house and it is the best Ive ever had.

Ive known the owners, Eric and Ernie, for most of my life. They run a great business with really good prices. Please stop in some time and compare their meat selection and prices to those that you will find at any other local store. Youll also get to feel good knowing that youre helping to support a local family-owned business.

Love this place. Best brats in town. Lots of other good products, excellent service. Sometimes theyre out of products, and their parking lot is a bit rough on the shocks, but I rec them for anyone who wants good, cost-effective, regional meats. Wonderful smoked meats, too!!!

Every time I go in, they are ready to help! I sampled a sausage they were considering and Im still thinking about it! Eric and Ernie are real butchers! You can get pretty much anything you need from them! Im already thinking about what to order for Christmas!

I have been shopping here for years. I just love them. Awesome family owned business. Friendly, curteous, excellent meats, and prices are way better than any of the "Super Stores". We consider them friends, my in-laws shop there, also.

prices are great but they are a small time butcher that doesnt even carry ham with the bone in, only prepackaged spiral cut ham
