Good Morning, The conduct of a female Kroger employee bearing the Kroger name tag "ARI", whom both my wife and I witnessed egregious behavior from on the evening of 9JAN2015 within the Kroger located at 1350 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43201 (7th and North High), was both grossly reprehensible and appalling. We demand she be terminated. I am immediately concerned with potential infection to store customers first and foremost, and believe as a precautionary measure they this particular Kroger be mandated to contain the contaminated food areas Im to mention. Not only I, my family, and the corporation I work for have been firmly loyal to Kroger brands, and have since sought to look elsewhere. My wife and I observed a white female with a Kroger nametape stating "ARI" digging her bare hands into the food dispensaries in the west side of the store, eating handfuls of assorted almonds and nuts as her naked unclean, and ungloved hands, scooped handfuls of food and she shoved them into her mouth. She went from bin to bin, doing the same, elbow deep....food dropping from her mouth back into the bins as she over-engorged. We were appalled knowing the several FDA codes which were being broke, and that people would be eating the very food her unclean bacteria-laden food her hands had just roamed through, some falling from her mouth. She physically threatened us upon seeing we observed her doing this, which Ive reported through Kroger food brands, however she looked sickly, and with bloodshot eyes, it is a public health concern others eat from these food bins. This needs to be adressed immediately otherwise I fear people will become seriously ill. It is a matter of public safetly these food bins located within the Kroger on the west side of the store be isolated immediately before people are introduced to volumes of potential viruses communicable via saliva. Upon being told from our cashier the store manager had departed for the evening, we walked to the exit and observed "Ari" managing the self-checkout area. She glared at my wife and I, to which I said, "Good Evening Ari." She did not respond, and glared at us as we departed. Unprofessional. Unbecoming. Egregious. As a loyal customer to Kroger for decades, I demand her reprimand and termination. Her conduct reflects poorly upon Kroger and the other employees who have aided in building a reputable company. Very Respectfully,

Yuck, this store. I shop there because I only live a block away and I dont have a car, thats it. As others have said, its super dingy. Its also really hard to find good produce, the last time I was there their green peppers were wrinkled, their garlic was sprouted and the only unbagged potatoes they had were a handful of small, overpriced baking potatoes. Also like others, I have bought meat there and regretting it. I bought steaks which turned out to be gray on the inside and exuded the distinct odor of rotting. Very gross, but they didnt give me any problems about the refund. Someone said the employees are great, and I disagree. There are a handful of people there who are quite nice, but some of the kids there can be surly and just ridiculous. A couple weeks ago I went in only to find that there were no carts. This was apparently because the girl in charge of them was slacking. When someone asked her to grab one for me, she just stood there and texted until the security guard was kind enough to find one for me. If I had a car, Id go to the Giant Eagle on Neil.

This is without a doubt the worst supermarket Ive ever shopped at. Their produce is poor quality and sometimes even has fruit flies buzzing around it! Disgusting. Their garlic is always sprouted and poor quality, and youre lucky if you can find what you need for a simple meal. Their meat department is a joke. Ive bought three cuts of beef there, and all three turned out to be GRAY on the inside when they were nice and red on the outside. This is what happens when supermarkets pack their meat with carbon monoxide to disguise how old it is. Nauseating. The service at their deli counter is terrible, and the whole place just seems grimy and depressing. The savings (which you only get if you have your Kroger Plus Card) is really not worth it. I wont be shopping there anymore.

It feels like you are in an institution when you enter the front door. Makeshift wannabe police greet you so as to let every body know that there is a police presence which can be a good thing, however, they do not allow me to bring in my therapy dog licensed tagged with papers into the store. Also. I am 61 yrs old and cannot buy smokes beer or wine without " valid" ID... FEDERAL law governs permits for dogs and yet after showing the so called officer the tags, license and papers for the dog I was informed that due to Kroger policy I could not bring in the dog. And I could not buy smokes or wine without valid ID. Its obvious that Im over 21 yrs old by 40 + yrs. Its all to easy to see. Kroger at this location need some help!!!

Went to cash my check today, and instead of employee doing the proper job. I was informed that my check was not able to be cashed and turned away with no further option. Especially after waiting in line for 20 mins plus rush hour traffic and all because she didnt take the time to read the check where it clearly says (Call this # to verify the check). Nobody wants to get off work and go to your place of business and deal with this. Please dont let it happen to too many people because someone else may react differently and would be correct in doing so.

This place always looks like a plague of locusts just swept through. Empty shelves everywhere. I live around the corner and was happy when they rebuilt it a few years ago, but it is just as much of a wasteland as it ever was. Cant figure out why its so hard to keep shelves stocked. Today, in the middle of the day, there were piles of boxes blocking aisles and no one in sight that was restocking. Had to go to another location to get the rest of my groceries I try to shop elsewhere if possible. This place is the worst.

Store is relatively new and has a decent selection of produce and organic foods. Prices are good. The bistro staff is nice but the hours and selection are limited. Cheese counter is large but not particularly broad in selection. Products in the store are frequently out of stock or not replenished. The store isnt particularly clean. Restrooms are consistently disgusting; Ive heard men snoring in the stalls or found cans of open beer inside.

Decent Kroger. Nice selection compared to the Clintonville location at North Broadway. The people that shop at this location seem to not care about their vehicles though. The last time I went, I saw 2 people push carts with their cars. One backed into a cart and kept going until the cart was out of his way and another pulled into spot and push a cart out of the way. I feel like my car is going to get hit being parked there.

This kroger i visited today was 30 cents higher on a gallon of milk it 229. When the one in whitehall i just visited the same day was 199. Asked the clerk could i get it for thw same price and said no we dont price match. So if its all kroger how come not the same price. Makes me wonder who sets the pricing. So the kroger in whitehall is cheaper then the one at 7th and high st what else is cheaper at another kroger.
