I will Never Ever spend another dollar in this store, we purchased a $25 Amish Brand ham for Christmas. My wife opened the product on the Sunday after Christmas, as soon as she opened it she noticed the meat looked funny, and it had a slime over the entire ham, not sure why, so she cooked it and it got even worse. I took the entire ham back the store, and the owner/manager told me that he had nothing to do with the ham, and that he couldnt /wouldnt be able to help me. He then told me to call his distributor, they told me that they do not supply that product to them. The customer service is HORRIBLE, and i hate that these inner city stores dont have better options, the fact that they dont have much competition, they feel as though they can sell us anything, well im sorry but thats just unacceptable, I am asking that we stand up, and let these stores know that we demand better!

Workand Ethics

They get 1 star because at least the security guards are courteous but other than that, the fruit and veggies Always have mold. The meat is always so close to expiration, not red and brown in the middle. They rarely have good deals. They have bad attitudes, especially the dark haired lady in the booth. Its no wonder why the Harper woods residents dont patronize their store.SAVE YOUR FAMILIES AND GO GET THEM SOME FRESH FOOD FROM ELSEWHERE! ITS NOT WORTH IT! I often wonder if they are intentionally trying to kill us slow. Can you say Health Department? Ill never shop with them again. BLM ALM ijs

TERRIBLE...I went here because it was on my way home and diid not feel like going to Krogers, HOWEVER, I brought corn beef, ham, and cheese from the deli....the corn beef cost $7+ and the ham cost $5+ and they both spoiled within 3 days. Also, I stop eating the cheese because it had black specs on it. Total waste of money; I will never buy food from here again...Ill keep going to Krogers instead

They always have eggs, juices, and my favorite flavor of ice cream on sale and available. From my research on beef the grades of meats appear choice although not published (youll have to ask the butcher), yet advertised as premium cuts, and generally fresh because of the sale price and high turnover rate.

Went grocery shopping. Was there for a 1 and 30. Saw a couple ppl putting food back but didnt ķnow why. Got to the check out with my basket full just for them to tell me "the machine down". Why not let us know?Why not make an announcement? SMH just rude and unprofessional

BAD MEAT. The food is old and they still try to sell it to you. Im going to call the health inspector on this place SOON. The only thing I brought that seemed gd was the bananas but I had to look through many old raggedy bananas to get to the few good ones I brought.

The staff could be friendlier. I buy a lot of meat there mostly what is on sale and havent ever had a problem with it. The porterhouse for 3.99 were awesome! I do agree that the produce is sketchy.

Been going here for years ans have never had any issues. The prices could be a little better in comparison to other markets but the quality is up to par and the cashiers always spoke to me.

They carry old meat and other items....if you do decide to shop their BE CAREFUL!!!!! The bad part about it is the meat expiration date say its good but the meat do be spoiled.
