Two items. Thats what I brought to the checkout counter. Two items. For the first item, nothing was coming up when they scanned the barcode, so they had to send someone halfway across the store to check the price. For the second item, a different price rang up than what it was labeled. So they had to send someone halfway across the store in the other direction to check this price. If this werent enough inconvenience for what should have been one very quick, hassle-free experience, the floor manager then had to go check the price himself. THEN he still had to talk to a higher-up manager before something could be done about it. But nothing was done about it. After running all over the store and making me wait four different times for two items, all on account of things that were their mistake, they refused to give the mismarked item to me for the price they indicated I would pay for it, which was $2 cheaper than what it rang up. Two dollars. Apparently two dollars is worth more to them than a valuable customer, because they just lost one who has spent thousands there in the three years Ive lived in the area. Actually, they lost four customers, as Im a new dad with another on the way. By the way, this is not the first time this has happened. It is evident now that their policy is never to budge on price, even after inconveniencing their customers for something that was the stores fault to begin with. To the managers/owners: This is just not how you run a store. You know you would expect better service yourselves; why dont you provide that to your customers? Your customers certainly deserve better, and I hope in the future, they get it. Ill get it elsewhere.

My daughter took me to this shore last week and I just loved the prices..so I went back with my son this week because my daughter was working and we needed help and a young handsome man (think that he was some sort of manager) helped us three different times.. He shared with us extra information that we didnt ask for to help us experience a better shopping environment and we more than appreciated the information... Now I shop at Krogers almost daily because it is literally 1 minute from our house so my son and I know the prices with our eyes closed and there are so so so many items cheaper than Krogers at Value Center Marketplace... This store is about 15 minutes from our home but we have agreed as a family that it is worth the drive. My son is a grown man and he was acting like a little kid in a candy store because the prices were so much better. Also the selections of items is so wide ...and there is every brand of liquor you could find there and and bakery and deli. And the items are brand name. We honestly felt like we were shopping at a discount Krogers store. Also the cashiers are so nice and helpful which was a big surprise because they were young and most cashiers are not as nice anymore. Also I cannot forget how very clean the store is and how nice the carts to put the food in are. I could go on and on but I will end with saying we have cut our food bill more than half. Value Center Marketplace is our new store.

When I walked into the store I was blown away at how clean and organized it was. They had plenty of stock on the items that I had coupons for. Everyone was friendly and courteous, until I got to the register to pay for my order using the coupons I had. Items that has signs on them saying they were on sale, were actually not, but they were nice enough to go and get the items that were for me. I was told that they do not accept coupons that are over a $1.00. They do not double "internet" coupons up to 50 cent but they will accept them for face value up to $1.00. If it says "do not double" on the coupon it is used for face value. I think I will stick with Kroger and Meijers because they double coupons up to 50 cents and regardless if its the internet or manufactures and theres no limit on the amount of the coupon. Their website should be more clear as to the policy on accepting coupons. To many rules...

This place is literally across harper from me... I am convinced they rub the date off products and restamp them... Purchased some milk for my 16 month old... Date wasnt even close to expired... I didnt notice a smell... My gf said he was sick (throwing up, bad stool, etc.) She looked at the milk from the spout and noticed it looked like it was slightly separating/almost like an oil look... We keep our milk in the fridge without leaving it out. We grab our milk last while grocery shopping... Even the pop I purchased from there tasted flat, but the expiration date was good... Do not buy anything from here... Makes me sick there are laws out there to protect these sick individuals doing this... I hope someone without anything to lose goes through this... I also hope I am selected for jury duty on the reaction case...

Manager is a genius at finding deals. You can stock your freezer for pennies. Read the expiration dates carefully and evaluate your needs. Regular prices are on the high side, but I will throw something in the cart occasionally to save making another stop. Excellent selection of condiments. A whole aisle devoted to dollar specials. This is where you bring someone on food stamps for the first time to learn exactly how far their money can go. Every year I wait for a particular deal on my favorite chocolate after Christmas. Why would I pay $5 per package when I know I can get it for $1.50 if I am patient.

The store is clean but the prices are crazy. I use to shop at a value center at 9& Ryan which had great prices but the one at 16 & Harper no. I would be better off going to Kroger because I would save money on the gas. I use to be a big fan of Value Center but not any more. I use to buy the cryovac ribs all the time fie a decent price but not anymore. Value center is suppose to be cheaper but far from it. I just shop Kroger or Meijers now instead of running to Value Center because we know its no longer a value anymore.

I have found this market to be clean, modest with what you need. Watch for their specials as they are very competitive. Also the service is great. They unload your cart, pack your bag and often take the groceries to the car. The prices are not walmart but service is what seperates the store from others. Much cleaner than the local kroger and meijer.

The people at the pharmacy are very rude and the educated. Whoever was working on July 22nd at 12 p.m. obviously did not know how to do their job correctly I had my prescription sent there from my doctors office and she tried to argue with me and told me that she never received it then she found it and treated me like a fool.

Hands down the best service I have ever had shopping for food..the workers help unload my cart with me, and they get two or three people to help bag once its been scanned. Ive never been so impressed. I never write reviews either, this should say a lot.. they should win an award and the workers deserve a raise!
