BUYER BEWARE!! We received great service when we went in to buy. We had to wait an entire week for delivery because there was a holiday weekend, but that was ok. It all feel apart at delivery. We were originally setup for delivery between 7am and 9am, so we had to arrange for someone to be at out house to accept the delivery. I got an email at 11pm the evening before saying it would actually be between 11:45am and 1:45pm. So we had to move quickly to find someone to sit during that time frame at the very last minute. We were told at purchase that they would remove the old washer and dryer, so we made plans for that instead of getting them removed ourselves. When they arrived, they said that wasnt on their paperwork, so they werent doing it. Which now means my old units will have to sit in the middle of my kitchen all week until I can arrange to have them removed over the weekend. THEN they left the dryer hose so long that I cant even push it back against the wall without kinking. When I called to have them repair it, they said they couldnt get back out there and they didnt know when they would be able to, but would call us 24 hours in advance of whatever day they may happen to have time. So now I have waited an entire week on a washer and dryer I cant even use because it was installed incorrectly! AND I have been given NO time frame for repair. I called 3 time to speak with a manager and was put on hold for 20 minutes the first time, hung up on the second time, and transferred to a voice mail the third time. This place is sorry, and their customer service is even sorrier. I definitely DO NOT suggest going through the hassle. GO SOME PLACE ELSE TO PURCHASE!!!!

I have had the worst experience with sears. I purchased a washer and dryer on May 24th and it was to be delivered the following Saturday. Customer service in the store was good. Come Saturday and they called to let me know that they could not find the washer. I went into the store after my dryer was delivered and everyone looked at me dumbfounded. When the dryer was delivered the guys put a long hose on and my dryer would not fit where the door would shut. The delivery man told me to have my husband fix it. Once I spoke with multiple confused people about my missing washer, it was to be delivered Saturday, June 3rd between 1:45 - 3:45. At 5:00 I get a call to let me know that they are running late. Once they arrived they let me know that the drain hose wasnt put on the truck and again stated that my husband could go buy one and get it working. After I let them know that I am not married AND paid the extra price for installation that I wasnt going to be the one fixing it. I contacted my sales rep who stated he was sure it was put on the truck and would have to get back to me with a time that they could deliver the drain hose if I didnt want to come in and he would GIVE me a drain hose free of charge. So far its been 1.5 weeks since purchase and I still do not have a working washer. Take your money elsewhere.

In the last few months we have purchased a refrigerator and a washing machine as well as service agreements from Sears, located on Hanes Mall Blvd. in Winston-Salem , N.C.. Upon purchase we were told by the salesperson the appliance would be delivered and installed for free. On both occasions, we discovered "free" meant installed by purchaser or by a technician from the service department. Feeling misled, I contacted customer service on 9/2/2016 and was told the matter would be investigated and I would receive a callback. On 9/8/2016, having not heard from Sears, I contacted them again. This time I talked to the store manager, Larry, who was extremely pleasant and patient in listening to my complaint, investigated the problem as I waited, and then corrected the charge for the latest purchase given the lack of promised installation. He restored my faith in Sears and we will continue to purchase our appliances and service agreements (and know that Larry will make "it right" if problems occur due to Sears claims/promises/products).

I was planning on purchasing a dress that I found on the clearance rack, but when I got to the counter it was ringing up full price. Any other time I would have thought a customer just placed it there when shopping, however it was MORE THAN ONE of the same dress there! I got the manger (Janice) along with an employee (Stephanie) to walk with me to show them that there was others. When I showed them, they both became very defensive and ganged up on me to say that customers put things in the wrong place all the time... yes they do BUT how can you possible have MORE THAN one of the SAME dress in the same "wrong location". Well after they became rude I wanted to speak with Janices manager, Claire. When Claire came down she already seemed rude and irritated, she told me if it was 20 dresses on the sales rack then she could have done something about it, but 3 or 4 are just "misplaced". I will NEVER shop at this Sears again!!! Rude employees.. Terrible service... Dishonest!!!

Bought $4000 of appliance on 06 May15. Product was supposed to be delivered and installed 07 May. I was called by the installer in the evening of 06 Ma and told the product was to be delivered 14 May. I was called by the installer 11 May and told 15 May and that I would be called the night before for the time of delevery. I wasnt called the night before. It wasnt installed on 15 May. Finally on 16 May, 10 days after purchance, c. 12noon an installer showed up with just one of my appliances, the dishwasher. An hour after he left, while I was running the dishwasher, it broke. Throughout all of this my calls to Sears Customer Service, to Sears Home Delivery, and to the installer were useless. ON 16 May, I cancelled my order, with more royal run around -- 48 hrs and 7-10 business days for the cancellation notice would be sent. Royal Run around and no help from Sears. Now Im trying Best Buy.

This damn place is a joke I ordered a damn fridge an it got delayed so many times I had to cancel my order. The guy told me they have the best delivery service an it turned out to be the shitest, they rescheduled my delivery date 3 times so I said the hell with it and canceled my order. Ive been waiting for 2 weeks for my refund, my money was supposed to go back on my card in 7-10 days, again that was a lie they mailed it to an old address in which I havent lived at for over five years, even though they had my updated address for delivery. Im still waiting for my money, and the managers cant give me a straight answer, Im still waiting to see when the hell im going to get it back. Please dont buy nothing here or waste your time with at this store. I dont give a rats ass if they have good sales. Dont go to this STORE!!!
