Ive been to this salon once before about a year ago and had a good experience. Unfortunately, I cant say the same for this most recent attempt to get a wash and blow dry. This salon sucks! I called them 15 minutes before my appointment to let them know Id be 15 minutes late. Then I got a call back minutes later by a stylist that tried her hardest to talk me out of even coming in! First she said 15 minutes was too late to come in then, when I insisted she told me they didnt have hot water. "Oh well if you want get your hair washed in cold water come on in". Ive heard of some sorry salons but I have never heard of someone trying to talk customers out of coming in. Long story short Ill never use this JcPenny Salon again.

JC Penney in Southland Mall has really gone down hill. I used to love shopping at this store. They have removed most of the registers, so you have to walk a long ways to check out. Also, they made the womens clothing and lingerie sections smaller, and the linens and bedding sections smaller, took out the luggage section, etc. They increased the size of the kids clothing sections. I am older, disabled, and do not have a pleasurable time shopping there anymore. No wonder it was just about empty. What a shame!

Everything that you need to buy at JCPenney are in the store. Very convenient to shop, and prices are affordable.
