I have purchased many items from this one store. However, this last bar stool (thats right - one bar stool) experience will be the reason I never shop here again. I was told to call 30 mins before arrival that my stool was in. So, when I had a family member take me to pick it up (cant drive due to health issues - not that its important especially to this store), I was told I had to drive to the warehouse to pick it up. Now, in all my days of purchasing furniture this has never happened and was told the delivery trucks were full for that day. I found it rude I was not told that would be the case before I ever bought the stool, then was told that its "not that far," and no way to make a delivery (because this is for a 2nd home and I was leaving on Sunday) that day. Take heed this is awful customer service if I could put zero stars I would! If you do not choose at least one star you can not post!

After visiting several furniture and mattress stores and not being able to purchase what I desperately needed immediately, I finally go to Ashley home store in Wilmington NC. The sales person Kent Williams asked me what I was looking for And I began to explain my urgency. Kent was relentless in looking for options to get me what I needed. He made phone calls, talked to others in the show room including speaking with the owner. I was able to walk out with my purchase right then and there!!! While others failed, Ashley home store, Kent and the others stepped up and helped me with my need. We had moved to N.C. During the Holidays and needed furniture.We had ordered A set of Sofa & Love seat from a different company online. Last minute they told us we would not receive that til middle of February so we Cancelled and went to Ashley furniture on a Friday, where not only did they match the price but upon learning that we had no sofas Nick Grubbs had them delivered to us Monday. They where delivered on time with a call ahead of time as they said they would. The rest of our order for delivered today in a timely manner with call ahead of time, and beds built and placed professionally by Curt & Quentrel. Thank you very much for your Pleasant & Friendly service. We would recommend you to all our friends & Family.

Unfortunately have to edit my feedback on Ashley furniture. Received a defective recliner sofa. Couldnt get parts to fix so delivered a new sofa a whole month later. New sofa is even worse than the first one! So poorly constructed. Frame is bent and throws off reclining mechanism. Cushions on back not evenly padded. So uncomfortable. Tech coming again tomorrow! Its been two months since my original order. The quality of their furniture is so poor. Ill never buy there again. Be forewarned. Neatly 2,000 complaints about quality & not honoring their warranty. Wish I had read before spending my money there! Will be fighting to get my money back.

Our sales person Nick was knowledgeable and helpful with our furniture selection. He went out if his way by staying late to accommodate when we had time to shop. Ashley furniture has different suits but many of the pieces are interchangeable and look great outside of the group. I like the warranty offered and hope I dont have to use it. My only negative was the assembly at home. Some of the screws werent completely in and the furniture was loose enough to see gaps by the end first day of use. For our future purchases we will go to Ashley Furniture for quality, price, warranty, and customer service.

Being that it was my first time purchasing a new piece of furniture, I was worried about being hustled into something I didnt need by a salesman. My experience at Ashley was 100% the opposite. I met with a lovely woman, Danette Paris, at the counter, and after a great conversation, she handed me over to Nick Grubbs. Nick was great. Talked to me like a friend, and made me feel, from the beginning, that this was about me. He answered every question I had, and helped me find the perfect couch for my new place! Couldnt be happier with the entire process. Thank you Danette and Nick!

Wow...the difference in experience is night and day between when I came into the store the first time and the second time. The first time, the sales person stumbled and bumbled through the questions I gave him, preferring to sit rather than stand, and had trouble with basic math to figure out the overall length and width of a couch. With Candice, there were no such issues. She was personable, knowledgeable, smart, and a true all-round professional. I feel confident recommending this store...but the experience is very dependent on who you see.

For assistance and any questions to be answered the sales women basically wanted assurance that I was going to buy something in order to provide assistance. Basically, she is not willing to invest her time, unless she would be reimbursed by making a sale. Im sorry, Im not going to agree to buy something unless Ive had the questions answered. Trying to re-decorate and re-furnish my kitchen and living room- taking my business elsewhere, maybe where customer service is valued by all employees.

We desperately needed a new couch/sectional for about 2-3 years & decided to stop in Ashley to see what they had. My wife and I were kinda unsure about what exactly we needed. We were lucky enough to have Matt wait on us, & he did a great job helping us! Matt was extremely patient, knowledgeable, & kind. Weve dealt with Ashley before, so we know how great the store is. But working with Matt made the experience even better! So if youve got a need, stop by and ask for Matt, hes a good guy!

Delivery men broke a $100 lamp immediately upon entering the house. When we asked about replacement of lamp the driver told us that maybe his manager could get us a store credit. He also stated that the waiver we signed for them to take the couch to the 2nd floor excluded us from getting reimbursement for the lamp. Called the store and yet to get a call back. Thought we were dealing with a professional organization however isnt looking like it. Will update if anything is resolved.

Good service and a nice variety of products. I dont purchase new furniture often and am usually stunned by the "sticker shock" associated with shopping in stores like this, but I had bought from Ashley before (in another state) so it was the first place I went when I moved to Wilmington. If youre looking for low prices you have to go all the way to the back of the store, but its nice stuff at reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

It was a great experience! we were in the market for a new bed and have been shopping the whole morning (4 stores prior) and honestly didnt get what we were looking for until we came here. We got exceptional service, great information and a phenomenal deal. We worked with a gentleman named Nick who told us more useful information about mattress buying then any of these "Mattress specialty shops". Will absolutely be a lifetime customer.
