We came down a couple of weeks ago since my son was relocating to Wilmington for his job. After we had went to several stores (not to mention the one just right down the road: felt like road kill being picked over by vultures after being preyed upon) and was starting to get discouraged because we were not finding a sofa for our sons apartment. Since we didnt have any internet yet at his apartment, we couldnt research any furniture businesses. So when riding down College Road, we just happened to stop in Wilmington Furniture & Mattress. Let me just say that we were so THRILLED with the great service we received!! We felt like we had known the owner for years. She was very helpful and talked with my son to see what he was looking for. He usually has to mull over purchases, especially something as expensive as a sofa. He was so sold with how nice and friendly Chrystal was, that he immediately purchased the sofa after sitting/lying on it to make sure it was comfortable. Chrystal called the next morning and her delivery guys brought the sofa to his apartment 30 minutes later. Now that is the kind of customer service that we really appreciate!! Oh, and we really enjoyed talking with her 4-legged assistant!! He could have sold anything with his outgoing personality. Guess he learned that from his owner! If we ever need any more furniture, we will definitely go to Wilmington Furniture & Mattress!

I walked in the store and from the back of the store I heard..."Hi, How are you?". As I responded I could see a lady in the back of the store. She began walking toward me and introduced herself as Chrystal Englebright. She was very personable and knew what she was talking about. I felt as though I had known her all my life in a matter of a few moments. I chose a mattress and box spring set that met my budget and was priced very competitively with the area suppliers. She promised a delivery date that met my needs and the set delivered right on time. The delivery guys were also personable and had the mattress set in place in a matter of minutes. Its really nice to find people who care and do what that say they will do and Wilmington Furniture & Mattress Co. is a "firm" company. I highly recommend taking a look in this store...you will be pleased beyond your belief. Thank you Chrystal and staff for all your help.

Ive been to this store to buy furniture on at least 3 occasions, and Ill keep going back! Shae the salesperson, knew her stuff. I needed an extra firm mattress for my fiance who had not quite joined me yet in the move up here. She showed me everything she had, and made some great suggestions which led me to the perfect mattress for us. Im very pleased with service. The movers were even awesome! They came on time, did the job quickly and correctly, and left no sign they were even there. One of the movers even helped me with a problem with a newly installed dryer. I cant Bragg enough about these people. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Thank you so much to all those at Wilmington furniture and Mattress who made this very difficult move a little easier. I just had to let you know you are appreciated. See you soon, I still have to furnish the living room!

AWESOME PRICES & SERVICE I wasted so much time going to some of these "chain furniture" stores looking for a bedroom set. I just so happened to be going down College Rd and saw Wilmington Furniture And Mattress and decided to stop and see what they had to offer thinking I was going to be disappointed. I was totally wrong!! Chrystal and Erin helped me find an awesome bedroom set and they spent over 2 hours with me. I will have to say it was the best customer service I have ever received. They also have better prices than the other furniture stores. I would highly recommend anyone checking them out before they make a purchase on furniture or a mattress!!!! Thank You Guys So Much

I was shopping for bedroom & living room furniture for my beach house. I went to Furniture Fair first. That was the worst shopping experience I have ever had. The products were cheap & overpriced & the sales people were more like temps trying to get a commission check. I left & went to Wilmington Furniture & Mattress. They were very professional & truly wanted to find out my wants & needs so that they could provide to me enough information to help me make the best buying decisions possible. Bobby was the man. Pricing was incredible. Selection was awesome! Delivery service was on time & professional. Great job!

I have to say this mother/daughter duo are fantastic at what they do! Theyre not pushy, they work within your budget, theyre friendly and professional!
