They were great four star Now they arent Poor customer service with the new guy that replaced the nice girl. Hes rude and hung up instead of telling me why they werent delivering or what time they would. I suspect its because his English is bad and my Spanish is worse. The owner needs to pay someone better to answer the damn phone and take orders without hanging up! Franco is always sweet and helpful ! I wont be ordering from then because of the other rude jerk. After two years, Im ordering from somewhere else. Fix your staff and the food quality has gone down. Soup is different now, you cant just throw a new person in that changes it for the worse. People like done consistency. Capital creations or mellow mushroom is calling us. Get your act together and fix that grocery store. I just read Camerons review about the napkin! Gross! They dont even have management there anymore! Just some guy that can only communicate the menu. Whos the owner? What a waste, it was great before when the lady was there. It wont last now that the grocery is closed .

I have been a customer for a long time. Called in today for delivery- they now cant do that which is understandable due to renovations- The food is decent but not outstanding... YET when I choose to spend my hard earned money at an establishment- especially in an area where there are dozens of other options I expect to be told "THANK YOU" for doing business with an establishment. Very poor customer service ! Should not matter what language is spoken- a smile and a thank you can make or break you. Not going back. Lillies has better pizza and better customer service. They will now get my hard earned dollar.

The is the first time Ive ever done an online review so Im serious about my review. Living in Philadelphia for 30 years, I know a great cheesesteak and Im here to tell you, Brookside Pizza has a GREAT cheesesteak. This is truly the best Ive had in the 20 + years that Ive been in NC. Their pizza is also delicious! Prices are very good for the quality of food. And I have to say the staff is wonder also.

Brookside Pizza was formerly a Mediterranean restaurant, but that has changed. They now have some of the best Italian food you can find! The Penne Pasta is primo! And the staff are all very friendly and accomodating. Our granddaughter loves their pizza, too. Oh, and my husband is crazy for the Philly Steak sandwich.... I could go on and on --- definitely should try this place!

Bit into my pizza this week and someone had baked a paper napkin between the crust and the cheese. It was disgusting spitting out a glob of napkin. They had no manager willing to talk to me, had no clue how to resolve the issue. "What do you want me to do?" I demanded a refund and Im commenting on every social media platform about this. Disgusting and irresponsible "cooks".

Great local grill and market. Pricing on prepackaged goods is reasonable. Great beer selection and they have a ratjer extensive wine selection, especially for a small market. They have sake in case youre in the mood for that. Now that the menu has changed, the burger and fries is like a secret item thats amazing.

Best neighborhood corner store around! Fairly large grocery selection, great beer and wine selection. We live nearby and I asked if they could carry my favorite local beer, 2 weeks later it was in the cooler!! Plus the pizza place that is inside of the store is my everything!! I could eat there everyday.

This spot has a great family-run, neighborhood vibe. Its restaurant is like Neomonde, but cheaper and without without the huge long line. Also has quality beer and wine. Clean and well-kept. Groceries are a bit expensive, but what do you expect from a corner store?

I order from brookside often and never had a problem..order comes kids grab a slice bite and say pizza was burnt.i called and the guy told me that i had to pay for the bite off burnt pizza before i could get a recook.I was outdone.Not ordering again.

Very expensive for the terrible food I received. Then they charge two delivery charges for orders that were coming to the same place.. I will never order from there again.

We had them deliver our margarita pizza and their eggplant parm. The pizza was great but the eggplant was dry even with the sauce and cheese.

Pizza pretty good. The market is closed. The new landlord ran the market off with strong arm tactics. I will not be back.

Beer selection is as good or better than local bottle shops, and you can grab some groceries or take out while youre there.
