Its a nice addition to the neighborhood. They still need to work out their stocking cycles; their limited selection is expected; being out of things so often isnt. The staff are friendly enough, though your experience will vary depending on whether you happen to interact with someone extroverted. Im hopeful for the future of the place, as they work out the kinks, as it is PROFOUNDLY convenient for me.

Far and away the best spot in Van Ness for lunch or to get beers after work. The sandwiches are a bit on the pricey side, but the flavors and portions are dynamite compared to the Bread Fursts of the world. And John, the guy that runs the sandwich counter, makes a point to try and learn regulars names. Im also a fan of their craft beer selection. What an awesome addition to the Van Ness neighborhood!

I like stopping by for breakfast or after work sometimes. It is truly a neoghborhood place. Im really shocked they are trying to charge a $5 PER GLASS corkage fee if you buy a bottle of wine from them and want to drink some/all of it there. My balcony is free; wont be drinking here much anymore, unfortunately. $5 per bottle cork fee, sure thing. Per glass when the bottle is only $12 is ludicrous.

This was a first class casual lunch experience. Went in looking for a sandwich walked having eaten the best italian hoagie i have had in DC, met a new friend, and found my new favorite post-work happy hour spot on Connecticut. Highly recommend. Can only speak to the first class service and phenomenal sandwiches.

Has quickly become my favorite place to stop in the morning for coffee and a light breakfast. Wonderful selection of gourmet and local market products. Amazing environment to relax with a coffee and not feel crowded or rushed. Fast Internet and public Wi-Fi is available.

Nice addition to the neighborhood with growler fills, good wines (though limited selection), good beers (though limited selection). They also have very good coffee. The place is large and they are still working out their stocking issues.

have given it a few chances but i find the systems to getting your food and sandwiches very frustrating. Things take way too long and often arent what you actually ordered. Hope they work on the coffee and sandwhich delivery system soon.

$8 for a molded loaf of bread. Bought a loaf of bread from them last night after Bread Furst had already closed for the night. I open the bag and the whole loaf is overcome with mold on the inside.
