This place is really unusual - before walking in (and even in the doorway), you get the impression that youre shopping at a place akin to Whole Foods with organic everything. But uh...after browsing the store, its more like an upscale 7-11 with that good ol National Harbor markup - prices for average stuff youd find in a convenience store are insane and you might only see a single quantity of an item. A can of Vienna sausage for $5? TF? A single bottle of expired sugar with a 12-2016 best by date - we shopped on 8-2017. Theres tons of alcohol (probably 60% of the store) and the cashier was so nice I want to come back just to say "hi!" If youre a tourist, go outside of the Harbor. Theres a reason many of these stores might have only 1 or 2 people shopping there.

My husband and I visited here in MarylandDC for a week. We were fortunate to run across this place near our hotel. The food was fresh, absolutely tasty, and the taste was far greater than I expected. I was so pleased with food and most importantly the manager. We continued to eat there daily until we returned home. The manager is awesome, and the hospitality and interaction I witnessed him give every guest including us was phenomenal. Very impressive. Please build a market like this in Houston and send the manager with! Mr.Curtis thank you for leaving great memories of Maryland/DC in our hearts.

The market is well organized and stocked. We had fun walking through and looking at all of the items they had available. The beer section was HUGE! We decided on two cakes for dessert and took them back to our hotel room near by. The lemon cake was decent but the chocolate cake was not. Either way both had way too much frosting.

This is hands-down the most friendly store in the Harbor. Ive shopped here regularly now for 1.5 years and Ive never encountered an employee who isnt super helpful and over-the-top professional and cheerful. I do wish theyd do a bit more to live up to the word "gourmet" in their title, but overall this is an awesome little shop.

The experience that me and my sisters had on our vacation was definitely enhanced by the gracious service we received here. They were friendly and genuinely nice. The food was good and the produce very fresh. We will definitely be back next year.

Beer selection is surprising and good - lots of options to be found at the back of the store, and the make-your-own six pack selection of singles is extensive. No fresh bread for a gourmet market was a bit of a surprise...

Fresh food on an island of over priced cookie cutter restaurants. You can choose a hipster spot, or you can get fresh food in national harbor. Sandwiches and breakfasts are great here.

Great breakfast sandwiches and the manager is hands on cooking for you and friendly. Also the only thing open for breakfast at 7am other than McDonalds.

Rip off! The bottles of wine here are about double the price (if not more) than the same bottles at Safeway in Alexandria.
