Im a guy in my 30s and my wife and I recently moved to the area. I grew up in a 100+ year old house, where everything was old, custom fitted, shifted, etc., so I know a bit about general plumbing, electrical and any other typical household fix it situations. We have a townhome a few miles away, and I have been to this Ace about five times so far, and its just so pleasant. Every single person who works there is just extremely nice, and helpful if you need something. The store has a great variety of various things that will cover the large majority of typical home fix-it situations. It also has the large majority of the regular "quick trip to the hardware store" items like garden tools, outdoor items, grill stuff, etc. Basically, everyone here is extremely nice and helpful, and the store has anything you need for 19 out of 20 times most people would normally go to Home Depot or Lowes. Plus, with their Rewards program, you get $5 certificate for every I think $25 you spend (this might be $20...cant remember). So, even if on some things they might have a slightly higher price, in the long run youre getting literally 20-25% off everything if you use the certificates.

Friendly Associates yet surprising since the management (I think owners) could really improve in customer facing skills. Regular prices are OK and some sales items are best deals-just great! Nice shopping experience as long as the owners are away and fortunately they mostly are.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Scott was phenomenal! He helped direct me to the most cost efficient method of helping my daughter with her science project. He even offered his guidance on how to do the project! Thank you for top notch service!

I avoid going to the larger, big box stores if I can. I usually find what I need for most household projects at this Ace location and the staff is alway friendly and helpful.
