This store use to be great. Now Westlake Ace Hardware it has gone to pits. I was in there and the place seems dark. You can tell the employees are not happy. They all look like zombies with heads down. The store manager was yelling at them. Long lines at the register. Employees can not look up items like they use too. Their system was not even hooked with Ace. The lady told me they were even going to stop selling Ace line products. I think I will stop shopping here. Westlake has turned a great place into a bad place. No longer has a community feel. Stay away....

Consistently awesome customer service! I am within walking distance and use Ace when I can. When I was single, it was great because I would get the support I would need--could ask questions, get recommendations, etc. This is where my father purchased my lawn mower and no hassle if I need help. I think some things are priced a little higher, and there isnt as big of a selection, but the assistance I receive far outweighs any price difference. I always try and come here first if I need anything.

I tried to make a refund at this location that I made in the Louisburg Ace hardware. The owner refused my return because "they dont carry that item." It was $9 and they lost a customer. The cashier, Kathryn was very rude & laughed in my face. The owner didnt seem to care & just made excuses for the rudeness. Beware shopping at this store. The Ace Hardware name is just a front, the local store doesnt follow corporate policy & doesnt care about their customers.

I have been a customer of Ace Hardware on Falls of the news in Raleigh for many years and Id like to give a shout out to somebody that I find to be an excellent customer relations person. Her nAme is BrendA. I always search her out. She seems to never be stumped no matter what the need. I know Brenda has been with Ace a long time. Kudos to her.

Kevin, Emma, Pat, Eddy, and the rest of the crew will take excellent care of you! Customer service at its best, like the old days! Additionally, this store has about anything you can think of. Ive been shopping here since 1999 and go there 2 to 3 times per week. These are good people that run this store!

NC Outdoor Adventures

Its hit or miss, sometimes great service, others terrible. The owners arent customer service oriented at all. There are good employees there but mostly during the week, the weekend folks can be sketchy. They DO have a good selection of products and good prices and a good repair shop.
