For years I have gone to this vision center because annual eye examinations and contact fitting charges are a bit lower than the other places I have checked out. Most of the times I have gone in to purchase glasses/contacts, the staff have been unpleasant and unfriendly. For the last 3 years, the woman who checked me in for my appointment asked for my insurance card and then informed me that my insurance does not cover routine exams. I doubted that because I have a good insurance plan, so I specifically asked if she was sure or if the center just did not usually file with my company. She told me that she was sure that my insurance did not cover routine eye exams. I recently called my insurance company and found out that they do cover the exam. Granted, I should have checked the insurance situation myself, but these people are not friendly, and they certainly will not go out of their way to give you good or reliable service. It is very annoying that I have paid hundreds of dollars to this company because I relied on incorrect information that they gave me. The optometrist himself is a nice guy and did get the prescription correct. His secretary and most of the staff in the store are the reasons why I am switching to a new provider.

Ive shopped here for years and it is both convenient and a good place to shop. I guess there are people who will gripe about every large store, but Ive shopped at this store for many years and Ive never had a problem there.
