I was totally disgusted by the manner in which the employees at this shop treated my friend and I as we were trying to make a donation. The white headed lady behind the counter was extremely rude and obnoxious without any provocation. I would not recommend anyone to be a patron or offer any donations of any kind to this store. It is difficult for me to write this review without using the language in which it deserves. If you feel the need to donate your items, please consider another organization that will appreciate you, and treat you with common decency and respect.

I generally dont care for Thrift Shops, but went in with my mother while visiting from out of town because she loves them. I was really surprised by this place! It was smaller than usual, so it doesnt feel like a big warehouse. The selection was therefore a bit smaller as well, but what they had was VERY nice, organized, clean - you really felt like you were in a boutique or nice little shop. The people were also very nice and seemed dedicated to their cause. I would definitely go back.

Really great finds but one of the owners was extremely rude to me when I returned a carpet cleaner that I was specifically told by a very friendly staff member a few days earlier that I could return if it was not properly working. She did give me my whooping $16 dollars back after making me feel as though I was the worst customer on Earth. I was treated so poorly that I got in my vehicle in tears. I have spent hundreds of dollars there over the years, but dont think Ill be going back.

They are definitely a bit aloof in there. The clothes are in great condition,and higher end, but very very pricey, considering its not resale, and theyre getting the stuff for free. Small selection as well. Household items also priced high. IThe organization the shop supports is great, but it still would not my first choice in thrifting, Id rather just write a check to the Durham Crisis Response center and get my clothing more fairly priced somewhere else.

I found some great clothing here this weekend. Prices are fair. This country has a problem with dirt cheap...........I love the garments I purchased...........beautiful and great prices.........I will continue to support them. If someone is rude to you, maybe you need to see what sort of energy you are giving off to the universe. I have not encountered this in any of the trips I have made there. We can only change ourselves.

This is a very fun thrift shop. I always find some sort of treasure when I go there, and the stock changes frequently so you never know what youll uncover. The prices are very low - much lower than second-hand stores, if a bit higher than Goodwill - and the volunteers that staff it are welcoming. And its way more fun to shop than Goodwill - nice atmosphere, like a boutique!

Good selection of womens clothing than youll find at nearly any other local used goods store, but the pricing is a bit high. I think this would be better thought of as a consignment store as thats about the level of prices youll find. The items they have are of higher quality than you may expect to see in a "thrift" store, but again, its not terribly thrifty.

I discovered Pennies for Change after it moved across the street from Guglhupf and peeked inside. After some digging I found some awesome clothes and knickknacks. I go back ever few weeks because the inventory changes and I can always find a great dress or top. Very nice staff! Excellent prices!

We come on a regular basis from GREENSBORO, NC to visit this store. I love the BEST selection of vinyl LP records Ive ever seen-and my wife loves the clothes and shoes. PLUS, it is a Christian charitable organization so you can shop and help the Lords work at the same time (somebody say AMEN).

The workers at this store have always been very nice to me. Ive found many great deals here in sizes 14 and 16. The clothes are better quality than most thrift shops Ive been to. I recommend them as the money goes to a very worthy cause.
