My mother took me to Sephora for Mothers Day and I really feel like this is the worst Sephora Ive ever been inside. When we entered it was super packed, as expected. It was grotesquely understaffed which a floor associate confirmed. I was perfectly fine waiting and appreciated her acknowledging us. She told us a staff member would be with us shortly, and about 2 minutes later Dawn appeared. Because they were so short handed she brought us over to an area where she could simultaneously help us and another set of guests. She was lovely and extremely helpful in matching me with a perfect concealer. Great. Now we head over to the skincare section. And this is where things went left. I approached the woman working in that section. She was speaking with a customer so I waited my turn. Once the customer was walking away I said "hello I have a question." At this point she looked directly in my face and walked off. My mother saw this and got upset, suggesting we leave. Im a pretty even tempered woman so I said Ill wait because I really needed a moisturizer. As the associate in the skincare section stood next to the store manager, I walked up, and she began talking to another customer, who apparently wasnt purchasing anything, then looked directly in my face and walked off again. At this point my mother lost it. I said lets just leave. My mother told the man with whom the associate was speaking (at the time we did not know he was the store manager) and he pretty much ignored her. So we went to check out with just the concealer and my mother told the cashier (who was very sweet and patient) that shed like to speak with a manager. Imagine her anger when she was told the man we spoke with was a manager, and he didnt even offer to help... the cashier did give my mom the number to corporate upon request so she may file a complaint about this location but its very unfortunate that a few bad apples spoil the bunch. Again, the 1st woman, Dawn and the cashier were awesome, but the woman in skincare and the male manager were a nightmare. I have worked in high volume businesses and there is simply no excuse for deliberately ignoring PAYING customers. Dawn literally had to help two parties at once and still managed to not only acknowledge us but do a great job as well. There was no excuse for the other associate or idle manager.

I was at this Sephora yesterday and my sister called me while I was shopping. I got distracted and put down my Pandora bag and walked off. The cashier was a very bubbly, happy man with a fantastic smile and as he was handing me my bag, I realized what I had done. I checked the few places I knew I had been and then asked him if one had been turned in. It hadnt, but he quickly alerted the rest of the staff and they all started walking around the store looking for it. He found it, returned it to me and I gave him the biggest hug I could produce without hurting him. The entire staff acted quickly, was friendly and helpful and saved the day for me! The store was also clean, well stocked, well labeled and even more spacious than other Sephoras I have been in. My nearest Sephora at home is Durham where the staff is a bit snooty, dismissive and generally doesnt care if youre there..so I dont go often and just order online. I dont live in Charlotte...but Ill visit this store next time Im back there! Fantastic place and fantastic staff! If the staff is reading this: THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU!

Went in inquiring about makeup application as I wanted to get a full face done for my birthday the following weekend. The employee said I could only book online which I thought was weird so I questioned her. Once questioned, she said they were "booked" solid. Mind you, she didnt look anything up nor asked me specifics on time/date. Just said they had no openings at all. I left the store and checked on their website and they had 10 openings!!! I returned to the store and once again questioned the same associate and she proceeded to tell me she never said any of that and she simply said they did not have the ability to check in store for openings. Such BS!! Not even 10 mins went by and she changed her entire bs story. Needless to say, I asked for a manager...told her what happened and she said she could book me. At that point I felt discriminated against and refused the appointment. Will never spend a penny in that store after this experience. DONT spend your money here..Go to the mac counter or bobbi Went right over to bobbi brown and booked my appointment

I was just in your store here at Northlake Mall in Charlotte NC. I go there every so often but Im usually dressed up and nobody comes to help. I just went in today for some powder, I had on a fleece today because of the rainy cool weather but I received so many employees wanting to help, they kept offering me baskets that I kept refusing and they kept walking up behind or beside me when they thought I wasnt looking. I would catch contact with some looking at me across the store as I was browsing. I love great customer service dont get me wrong, but this made me feel uncomfortable..especially since its not the norm for this location & had me thinking they thought something else of me because of my attire. I felt stereotyped & although sephora is my favorite & I know you have billions of customers but I kind of dont want to shop with you all anymore. I feel so awkward & sad. I hated my shopping experience today.

Seriously the worst Sephora customer service EVER! I tried exchanging a KVD lock it tattoo foundation for a different shade (I had a receipt, and it was in the box) and the rude worker tried making me show her my license even though I had the receipt and explained to her. She had blonde hair and terrible eyebrows, but I didnt get her name. Then she was like oh I cant give you this new shade without the beauty blender it came with. Why would I need to return a USED beauty blender and a foundation. When all I needed was a new shade???? Then the manager wasnt going to let me. Ridiculous. So then I just whined enough so that she eventually just did the exchange anyway, with no apology to me or anything. The manager was rude, and for a customer to have to deal w that is awful service. DONT go here unless youre prepared for rude workers and managers with awful makeup! WATCH SOME YOUTUBE TUTORIALS LADIES

My aunt & I took a quick trip to Sephora to get the too faced peach pallet but we ended up swatching other palettes; taking more time. As we were walking around we noticed people kept looking at us. In fact we were told by a lady "we are watching you." We laughed & walked around a little more then another lady came up to us asked us how we were doing & then glanced down in our basket as if she were checking or counting what we had. We stayed a little longer & they kept staring at us like we were going to steal Something. After we checked asked us if we found everything ok, when we answered she went up to her coworker to talk about us. This Sephora has made me feel unwelcome & judged based off of what I was wearing. We spent 215.00 there & itll never happen at that location again because of the workers there.
