A great place to get high quality meat and fish, expensive cheese, craft beer and decent produce. However, my favorite was the customer service, the WORST part is store leadership. We have been shopping there for years, getting to know many employees on a personal basis. Unfortunately, over the past couple years people have just suddenly disappeared. Ron Bold and his minions love to fire people. The whole corporate model now has changed to get rid of full time, dedicated with years of service, team members. Its disgusting. These people have families. They have put so much energy in the store. The Whole foods "Core values" thing is an absolute joke. Good luck over the holidays, Ron, when you try to pull off great things with a couple hundred part time employees that dont care or know where anything is. The company has gone downhill, renovations cant fix that.

I absolutely love visiting this Whole Foods Market location. The staff really go above and beyond to help customers. I have not been disappointed with the service and quality of groceries I purchase here. The level of respect and appreciation for customers was illustrated for me when I called the store to address an issue a few months ago. I purchased fruit, but noted the price had decreased a few days later when I visited the store again. I was a bit upset by this and contacted the store. I didnt have my recent handy, but they kindly offered to look up my information in their system. They noted the price difference and offered to provide me with a small gift card to compensate for the price difference. They were exceptionally considerate and professional, and I was amazed by the great customer service.

Prices are getting better and they stock a good variety of items. However, their "Made right here" products in the bakery are never consistent in quality and so expect a hit and miss on many of those items. Im guessing they dont follow recipes or fail to calculate the ingredients properly. Im also disappointed that their deli items are not made with the higher quality items you would find throughout their store but the prices might suggest they do. Staff are typically friendly and helpful as they are throughout all WFs. I also find some of my staple items are frequently out of stock. When I inquired if there was a day of the week I would have better luck finding these items in stock, I was told they never know what or when things are coming in and the only way to know would be to call before coming in.

I have been shopping at Whole Foods for more than a decade. Last night, a shopping cart on the loose slammed into my car in the parking lot. The loud boom panicked my Tibetan Terrier who was resting inside. He bolted out the window and fled. He was nowhere to be found. Jeremy and several employees dropped everything and spent hours searching the area for my terrified dog. I am so appreciative and touched by their concern which shows the management to be more than merchandisers but genuinely caring and compassionate for the community and their customers. Fortunately, a few hours later, my dog was recovered a few miles away by a good samaritan. I will never forget Whole Foods unique management style which included efforts to save my little dog during busy business hours.

Have been ordering special order cakes from other WFs stores around the US for many years. Recently ordered one from this store assuming it would be the usual reasonably fresh and properly baked cake. Nope... Received a frozen, over-baked, and dry cake. When I notified the bakery, and asked if their special order cakes were supposed to be freshly baked, I received no answer to my question. I then submitted the same question to the store via their website... No answer.... So much for WFs commitment to wholesome, fresh foods. I find it very disappointing that WFs cannot be upfront/honest about their freshness process.

Stopped here w/gf on March 7 for take-out dinner. Chose green beans with garlic, vegan collards, roasted red and sweet potatoes, and some southwestern pulled chicken. The chicken and beans were tolerable. The rest was terrible. Collards were extremely (spicy) hot - I expected a bite, but this was like habaneros had jumped in the pot en masse. The potatoes - oddly - were also hot. I love hot, spicy flavors, but I certainly didnt expect them in these dishes. For $9.50, especially, this was a trainwreck of a meal.

My favorite place to eat dinner. Their hot bar always has a huge variety. They have tremendous pizza and sushi. They will make a hot sandwich to your order. The staff is friendly and appreciates a smile and pleases and thank yous, as there are not enough people in that shop there that offer them. That is the only knock to the store and that is the other people that shop there. Overall a great shopping experience.

I was shopping for a personal care item that I routinely bought at the San Diego Whole Foods Market in LaJolla, CA. After seeing if this store could purchase this iteam, and finding that it will not be able to, the gal in the personal care department made a call to Weaver Street for me to see if they carried it there. Way over and above the call of duty. Thanks for the help and the great customer service.

Stopped there for the cafe. Brisket completely dried out and inedible my husband didnt even touch it after the first bite. Kielbasa and cabage bland and heavy fat content in the sausage. Quinoa salad very heavy on the coconut flakes. Skip if you are looking for a quick meal, not worth the high price. Bathroom was dirty, soap dispensers empty and only one of the paper towel dispensers worked.

I go to this location at least 2 or 3 times a week, and the services and their products are generally okay. Things are overpriced and most of their produce is not even organic (you have to read carefully). I am giving it 1 star due to the incredible poor service I received today by Ryan C, some new cashier I had not seen before. I will not buy at this locally until that scumbag is fired.

I had the breakfast bar the morning of July 25th. I did not fill up my plate with a lot of food and you could still see many areas of the top of my plate. I was kinda sticker shocked with the price of $11.79, so I asked for water to drink. The eggs, the french toast and the syrup were delicious, but Im sorry to say the sausage and bacon did not taste like it was made that same day!

They keep packing in more and more junk like make up and incense so that the food isles are always crowded. The fresh vegetable and fruit area often has grocery cart traffic jams. People can get testy if you leave your cart unattended for a minute or two because they want you to keep moving. It is because of the congestion that I dont like shopping here.

If you dont know what Whole Foods is I cant help you out in this short of a review. But lets just say that Chapel Hill is one of the locations WF was made for, so youre going to find salespeople here who know their craft beer. And local collards. And goat milk soap. Also features some nice prepared-food options, like a sliders bar and a to-order ramen bar.
