I bought a overpriced van because I was in a bind and my other van sudden died. They promised me that the reason why it was so overpriced was because it was inspected, everything was taken care of and nothing was wrong. Really? and thats why when I went to check the oil, not only was it BLACK, but it was gunky black, it actually had chunks of black oozing dripping of the dip stick. I was told that IF the oil needed to be changed that they took care of that. Yeah RIGHT. They didnt even CHECK the oil, because if they did, no way would that be considered fine. The van also gets about 12 mpg and its getting worse everyday. Its supposed to get an average of 20mpg, but hey I paid extra because its supposed to be a fine vehicle with nothing wrong. The doors dont work, sometimes it doesnt start in the morning, leaving me stranded without being able to go work a few times. The first time it happened, I had the van for two days, they did take it back and had it looked at. However they could not locate the problem, and it was returned three days later, with no results. Im also have a issue with the transmission. Its very sluggish, prop part of the gas mileage. I am having issues with it being able to get in gear and get me to point a to point b. the brakes are also going out. . Ever since I had the van, (NOV 2012) Ive had issues with the breaks acting wierd going down steep hills. I started having trouble real bad with with the snow, they lock up on the slighted bit of ice. Now they are hard to press down, I can feel tension issues with the break cable. So now Im paying 30% interest, (thats their rate) on a van thats not worth half of what I paid. I was told it was a reliable vehicle, but its turning out to be an unreliable money pit. Im still dealing with this, so lets see what happens in the next week or so, when I cant drive it anymore because the transmission feel out, and the repairs cost more than the van. They told me last time I mentioned the issues, that this was the first they heard of it, and there was no documentation, and this is all new... ha, ha ha ha ha. So hopefully this can be some sort of documentation. Im really not sure what Im going to do, This is the most Ive ever paid for a vehicle and it is by far the crapiest, neglected vehicle Ive owned. Very Very disappointed. : ( Im a single mom too, so I dont have a bunch of money to waste. Just needed a reliable vehicle, some honestly, and to pay a decent price.

I bought a car from them in 2014 and was very impressed with the service. WhenI got my inspection for a new tag (after heavy use) it passed with 100%! I paid that car off about 5 or 6 weeks ago and decided that, because of my first experience there that I would go right back and get the second car my family needed. Robby and Jonathan helped me to the best of their abilities to get me into the car I chose, and everyone there was very friendly as usual. However, I have been pretty disappointed with my new vehicle. When I test drove it I mentioned the breaks feeling spongy and had to be pressed all the way in to stop effectively, and was told they were probably stiff from lack of use. I took them at their word, but after driving the car for 2.5 weeks Ive long since realized that they should have been bled. Also, the morning after I bought the car I drove it from Asheville to Charlotte and came out of a gas station to the engine not turning over. Luckily, I had a mechanic on board who saw that the battery cable was terribly corroded and was able to clean it up enough to get going , but of course that is only a temporary fix. Then with in about an hour the check engine light came on! On the way home I took it by Advanced Auto to have them hook it up to the diagnostic machine. They told me it was an emissions issue that shouldnt effect the way it runs, but that the codes would have to be reset to pass the emissions inspection. I assume that is what Westridge did to get it to pass. I had already overlooked little things, such as the driver door handle detaching, before I purchased it, but because of my initial experience trusted that I was getting a mechanically quality vehicle. I havent brought these things to their attention as of yet, because of my busy work schedule and currently getting registered for college. Plus I didnt feel like there much hope for them making it right after signing multiple AS IS NO WARRANTY disclaimers. I am heading there now though to make my first payment, and will bring it up. I hope they dont let me down. Everybody is very nice as Ive said before, but I feel like the establishment got really sloppy on this one.

Within 5 days of buying my vehicle it broke down in the middle of the road. Luckily my two very young kids were not in the car because since the car just completely stopped going I almost was rear-ended. The manager told me he would fix it and put me back in this vehicle. But I dont want any vehicle from that lot. I need something safe for me and my kids. He discriminated me because i was a single mom. even told my mom that she didnt raise me right. I want to be very clear. I dont want a car that I dont feel safe in anymore, I dont want a different car from this lot. I want my money back. I had to put $2100 down and 2 days later made a payment of $200. 2 days after that its dead on the side of the road. I called them at 9am and they said they would pick the car up. They didnt even pick it up until 12:30pm. Then they tell me its at a transmission specialist. And they wont know anything until the next day. Yes i went the next day to find out what was going on since they REFUSED to call me back. When i got there i told them how i didnt trust any of their vehicles after that i just wanted my money back. The manager told me it wasnt his fault that I picked a bad car. Told my mom she didnt raise me "right". The discrimination was uncalled for. Just because Im a single mother doesnt make me any less of a person. Even my insurance company said what had happened was immoral. Looking into filing ...... at the LEAST..... discrimination charges against the owner. He has NO RIGHT whatsoever to put me down simply because Im a "VERY PROUD SINGLE MOTHER".

My girlfriend and I have been searching for months for a Saturn Ion in the area. Buying/Trading/Selling cars is a hobby of mine so we put a lot of time and research into what we were doing. We went to Burnouts on Patton to check one out. The whole place is a joke, the employees are stupid rednecks who believe that they are the gods and will try to pull one over on you. DO NOT GO TO BURNOUTS. Disappointed, we started our way back home until our eye caught a beautiful silver 2006 Saturn Ion. The owner greeted us and told us a bit about the car. The next day, we took it to our family mechanic and had him take a look. He found a few problems with it, but when we brought them to West Ridges attention, they got on it that day. The day after, they had fixed all of the problems and cleaned it up a little. Mandie, one of the employees was very helpful and we found a price in the middle that was perfect. We ran into a few problems, but she worked with us and took great care of us. My advice to the people who left one-star reviews, DO YOUR RESEARCH AND TAKE THE CAR TO A MECHANIC BEFORE YOU BUY IT. West Ridge will take care of everything, helping you in the future. Now that my girlfriend is perfectly satisfied with her car, Im in the market for one. Im picky, but Ill definitely keep my eyes on their lot. Thanks West Ridge and thank you Mandie!
