Terrible experience. All of the flowers for my grandmothers funeral came from this florist. The flowers we were given were nothing compared to what we had ordered, they were all wilted and dying, and we were supremely overcharged, but could do nothing about any if this as we didnt see them until the day of the viewing. The color schemes were completely wrong they did not use the color ribbons that we had asked them to, and they used cheap filler flowers and did not give us the flowers we had specified. My cousin bought a $200 floral arrangement as he could not attend the funeral and we were sent an arrangement that was worth $75 at the most, and it was not filled in and had bare spots. They really did a terrible job and seemed not to care about the fact that this was for somebodys loved ones final memorial. If you dont care about the flowers you are getting then this place is fine, however if you want to fine professional floral arrangement, then I highly suggest that you look elsewhere!

I called to see if they would be interested in donating only a few flowers for us to give away to mothers on Mothers Day at work to also include their business card to act as advertisement for them as well. I understand I was asking for something for nothing, but the man was downright rude and insulting. To add to this they also have another "company name" of Floral Worldwide with a different phone number. I called them and got the same rude insulting man so beware they also operate under the "Floral Worldwide" name as well. So agian while I do understand that I was asking for a donation from them, the pure attitude and rude deameanor of this individual will result in me never doing any personal business with either of their companys as well as steering my friends away from his business.

I needed an arraingment for a friend of mine as a nice "New Home" gift. I didnt want to spend too much but didnt want to be too cheap either. I found Asheville Florist on Google Maps, I had heard about them from a past friend who did a wedding and needed wedding flowers, and also had seen some of their flower baskets and gift baskets that had been delivered to our office! I called and asked for a simple arraingment. The Surprise that I recieved when I got to her house was wonderful. The free delivery of flowers that arrived made her cry, they were so beautiful and made her house a home. I could not have asked for more from a simple phone call. I will always call on them next time I need a flower arraingment. Next time I will call Asheville Florist again for that same awesome feeling!

Stop by the shop recently for flowers to put on family graves in Riverside Cemetery - they had just what I wanted! Hard to find a full service florist in Asheville anymore, but Asheville Floral is certainly that. Had a nice chat with the lady operating the shop. A good experience. 2 April 2015 update I also ordered from Asheville Floral - online - a bouquet of flowers to a friend at a local residence in Asheville. She was absolutely delighted with the bouquet. More expensive than some online providers, true, since it was brokered by FTD, but the quality and the result was good.

This was an awful experience. I ordered flowers for a sick friend. My cost was close to $60 with his delivery fee (within 3 miles of his shop). This was the most pathetic small gathering of flowers I have ever seen. No colors, no style, he threw a small handful of the cheapest "filler" flowers he could find and then delivered them to my sick friend. I will NEVER use this florist again. That was a pathetic excuse for a floral arrangement. I doubt the arrangement was over 9" tall and the flowers were puny mums and fillers. An embarrassment.

Ordered a dozen roses for my wife for valentines day, the bouquet was horrible. The roses were clearly very old as the wilting petals had been pruned to the point that some of the roses consisted of 5 petals. On top of this, asheville floral charged extortionist pricing for this bouquet of barely living roses. I took the bouquet back for a refund, and they tried to argue me out of it. There are too many florists in the phone book to tolerate such a bad experience. Go somewhere else!

I cant say enough about Asheville Floral...above and beyond when it came to making an arraingment for my Grandmother while she was in the Hospital. The gift shop wanted way too much for such a small thing. BUT Asheville Floral came through! I will always use them for all my flower needs! I highly recomend them!

Was very disappointed. Sent my wife flowers for v-day, I ordered online, it was not what I ordered. Three roses and mixed flower for 140 dollars what a rip off. I could have got nicer flowers at Ingles. Will never go back!

Absolutely love working with the owners. Always accommodating and fair
