Revised edit: Based off communication on another site with the florist, I have increased my rating to 4 stars. If FTD was indeed partially or fully to blame, then the florist shop does not deserve a 1 star rating. I will also comment that the flowers were delivered quickly, they did call the receiving party prior to attempting delivery, and I am even willing to admit the flowers may have looked differently when originally arranged (as I was not there to personally see). I would have preferred an email, call, or other direct contact from the owner (as I am a reasonable person, I was just upset), but I understand that may not have been possible since I ordered directly through FTD. Regardless, thank for for your replies. You are obviously very passionate about your business, and I can appreciate that.

MY BROTHER HAD ORDERED MOTHERS DAY FLOWERS. THE ARRANGEMENT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, THEY SPELT HIS NAME WRONG AND DID NOT WRITE THE COMPLETE MESSAGE ON THE CARD. FOR A MOTHER TO RECEIVE FLOWERS FROM HER SON IN THE MILITARY AND FOR THE NAME TO BE COMPLETLY DIFFERENT IS HORRID. I EVEN CALLED DAYS BEFORE TO MAKE SURE THIS ARRANGEMENT WOULD BE DONE CORRECTLY BY WHAT I SAW ONLINE AND THE LADY ASSURED ME! WHEN I CALLED AND SPOKE TO A GUY AT HOLSTON FLORIST HE WAS THE RUDEST GUY EVER!! HE THEN PUT ME ON SPEAKER PHONE AND LAUGHED WITH THE OTHER EMPLOYEES! THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I EVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!

Terrible Customer Service. My Mother in Law ordered a Christmas Cactus for My Grandmothers Funeral, which happened to be the day before Christmas Eve. The reason she ordered from Holston Florist was that the person on the phone confirmed to her that it was in FULL BLOOM. What we received was not even close to being in bloom, and actually looked almost dead. When my mother in law called to discuss this with Holston Florist, the person on the phone actually hung up on her. My wife called back, as my mother in law was in tears at this point , and they stated to her that they didnt care if they lost a customer, and hung up again. Awfull Service

This place is fabulous!!! I ordered by phone with Corey and described that I wanted Stargazer Lillies and white Roses for my Aunt who was very ill. I asked that her room be filled with the smell of flowers to ease her suffering. The delivery was exactly what I asked for and arrived very prompt as my Aunt passed the very next evening. The fragrance that filled her hospital room made my Aunts passing peaceful and fragrant. Many, many compliments were received and the arrangement was so beautiful it was forwarded on to the funeral home. Cant thank Holston Florist Shop and Corey enough!!!!!

I made a trip to Holston Florist for an arrangement to send to a funeral. The lady that I spoke with was super nice. My husband said the place smelled like smoke. I am a smoker so I didnt notice but I was concerned that the arrangement and teddy bear would smell. I called the florist back and a man answered the phone. Rudest person ever! He was very short with me and cut me off in mid sentence. I have always used this florist but NEVER again. If this guy doesnt like people he needs to stay at home because he has lost more than one customer with his attitude.

My husband order some v day flowers for me and they was awful.look like something I would take to a funeral 2 of the roses were broke and not very well places in there. Tiger lilys and roses not a good combination..Best part was the vase. Its red and very pretty but the flowers not so much.They are dead now and thank god.

I send my mother flowers every year for her Birthday which falls on Valentines Day and they were beautiful. This shop is always very busy but it is because they are the best around. Theyve never disappointed me.
