dont buy that ground beef in the package that comes from Oregon. disgusting stuff that looks and feels like it was Blended, not Ground. A manager, when I told them a couple days later about my experience cooking it and Trying to eat it, agreed that it was weird stuff because he recently tried it and thought it was Bad, then told me that he couldnt give me credit for it, or Anything, because it was 3 days before, not their 2 day limit! hard to believe. I am there spending thousands of dollars.. a real local. And that was the service one gets when you complain about one thing.

Yes, some of it is expensive, some of it is more affordable, all of it is thoughtfully stocked and organic. I lived in Woodstock for 10 years and really loved this store. They have such a great selection over all. A great herb and vitamin section, great organic produce, even huge chocolate section! All of the employees were friendly, quirky, lovely people. I have moved away from Woodstock and really miss this store.

The store is great. Great produce, great service. Always friendly, always helpful. The restaurant is a whole other animal. Great food if you dont mind waiting and being served by people who are overworked, generallly about the temperature in the freezer, and if you dont mind waiting an average of 15-20 minutes for your food no matter if the place is packed or nearly deserted.

Good quality food, but VERY expensive! A man in line in front of me had in his basket flour, milk, bread, eggs, and nuts... It came to$80! And none of it was organic, special in any way! Go into Kingston or stop at the Dollar general on the way, save your hard earned money. ALDI in Kingston has all the organic local gluten free etc items you need!

Great selection. Great full they have joined with other high integrity food stores to ban ramps and other "yuppie greens". Wildcrafters have been destroying our Catskills for decades making fast money on these poached crops. Love and support Sunflower because they refuse to carry Ill gotten foods.

Why is this the only grocery store in Woodstock? It matches Manhattan grocery prices, at lesser quality--though no one could question the purity or virtue of the fair trade organic items. But if one does not have a car to drive down to Hurley, then its this or CVS!

This is a great healthfood store located in Woodstock, NY. The produce section ALWAYS has very fresh food unlike other organic sections of big supermarkets.
