Ive worked at this stop and shop for 3 years now going into 4 years. if you ever see me, im usually pushing carts outside and cleaning garbage after all the people that tend to leave it in their carts. but point is looking at the comments below mine makes me laugh and also makes me wonder a lot honestly because sometimes when I get customers in the bottle area complaining about how horrible the bottle room is or how carts are latterly always all over the parking lot. I have to say I have to get a good laugh in there because honestly some of the people I had to contend with sometimes its just plain out disgraceful and I dont know how I managed to be working still in this place for 3 years going into 4 in march. and people here tend to be nasty whether it be customers or people that work there. I have to say you people need to think twice before you say something. if you have nothing nice to say, dont say nothing at all. especially if you have to give us porters a hard time over very little crap that you tend to start in the beginning. ill be around pushing carts as always but its just disgraceful how you people tend to be. very disgraceful. but when its me pushing carts and doing other porter stuff, im an expert. so come find me before complaining about carts being all over the lot and stop leaving them out in the parking lot in the first place.

A small Shop And Shop. Converted from an Edwards (same parent company) resulting in far less variety of organic produce (and Edwards was 15 years ago!). Renovated a number of years ago, resulting in higher prices. With lots of parking, and a glass window front with obviously no support columns, they could have expanded the store to the street. But apparently, more parking is more important to them than shopping space, even though most other locations are much larger. The crudyist health food section of any Stop and Shop I know, and a non impressive selection of wilty organic produce makes this a loser. And then they expect me to wait on that stupid long line, with people purchasing a carload of groceries in front of me. Yes, if you dont have a car, you have to haul stuff in, because theres not much in the neighborhood, but being one of the lousiest Stop and Shop around because its the only game in town doesnt buy a good rating.

Dirty and messy. I just moved to the Riverdale area and it has been the hardest thing to find a good, clean supermarket. This is the 3rd big supermarket that is close to my house. The 2 stars is for the managers effort to find a simple item I was looking for. Baking powder. However I did have to ask for 2 people and the manger to find this item. The entrance to the store looked like paper had been shredded all over and all garbage has been dumped right there. I informed him of this and he asked someone to clean it up in front of me. However 10 minutes later when I was walking out, it was still a mess. People just have to care about their environment more. We live in it! If more people would bring it to his attention he would do something about it.

Absolutely the worst place to deliver to!! Must enter from 234th street into a congested parking lot, bay is on other side of building not sleeper and 53ft trailer friendly at all!!! I had a hell of a time... Hope a meteor makes its way to this place overnight ☄️☄️☄️☄️.. On way out if you have a sleeper plus 53footer trailer exit towards corner of store move over garbage cans slowly crawl onto broadway go down a street until 233rd make left then keep going until bailey street make a right... Broadway is NOT A TRUCK ROUTE!! Partial at best

This Shop & Stop is anutha best shopping department in the Boggie down Bronx,WoW!!! Didnt plan to but,never knew there were one located there. It surprised me so,I got more feline wants and needs. Caught that sale price,Ohboy! I was lucky and was planning to go where I know,Brooklyn... Awman,Stop & Shop is the hot spot for mega deals,Gotta luv it!!! I dont know? Might make this branch a permanent spot to shop,Feel meh? Well,"Thats All Folks"

A selection of organic tofu, veggie stock, tofu pups, veggie hams, veggie chicken, veggie meatballs and veggie ground beef. They also have some inexpensive generic soy based wheat bread. What they dont have is vegan cheese. They have veggie cheese, with milk. Dont ask, I dont get that either. They have a very active soy milk section too... both, unrefrigerated and refrigerated.

Ive seen plenty of other Stop & Shops with better produce sections. Its like they feel like they dont have to try because theyre "only" in the Bronx. But the meat department is pretty good and the bakery department is decent too. Beer selection is terrible. They are the only place in the area that I know of that carries Sniders sourdough pretzels, so they get points for that.

A good selection and a wide variety of merchandise. Everything from groceries to desserts and from pet supplies to over the counter pharmacy items. Good selection of beer too. Plenty of parking so its great for stopping off on the way home for last minute necessities. The place gets crowded so be prepared for the long lines at the register. Self checkout is faster.

Terrible supermarket. Everything is old, unstocked, we brought home rotten old garlic, NOTHING was in stock, everything left was old and expired. The layout is terrible, parking lot is messy with carts all over the place and nobody caring to put them in the right place. Will NOT be back. Go to key food by Johnson Ave, 10000% cleaner, better, nicer.

Excellent product selection, handicapped accessible, convenient location with good parking, helpful and friendly staff, not too crowded. What more could a shopper want?! Maybe, Fairway at 125 Street and 12th Avenue has more exotic choices, but Im in and out faster at Stop & Shop and I feel my business is more appreciated at Stop & Shop.

Went in this month and the total was over $600/ MONTH AND WE BARELY HAD ANY MEATS/PROTEIN AND THATS FOR 2 PERSONS, AND THOUGH IVE HAD THE SO CALL DISCOUNT CARD I DONT REALLY SEE MUCH IN SAVINGS. I DONT KNOW WHERE TO GO ANYMORE FOR FOOD, EVERYWHERE I GO SEEMS TO BE SO EXPENSIVE ! ! I MISS MY PATH MARK SUPERMARKETS.

It should be good, but the price is expensive (amazing considering Garden Gourmet is just across the street), and the checkout lines are almost always long and slow. Every time I come, I make a mental note not to repeat, but Im forgetful. They are open a full hour earlier than anyone else around.

I like coming here . They have competitive prices and good deals. This is a short drive for me but i go here because they have the best produce the supermarkets around my way are terrible. I come mostly during the week in the morning is best. Sundays are crowded and lines are long.

The layout and plan should be re-assessed. Parking in the lot was a pain since carts are left hap-haphazardly in spots. Theres no apparent storage area for shopping carts in the lot. I brought my garlic home and it was pretty rotten when opened up. Prices were low but at what cost!?
