We purchased a dining room table, six chairs, a china cabinet , and table pad, in August 2011. In January 2012, only five months later, two of our chair cushions started to sink. The technician from Raymour And Flanigan agreed and told us he was ordering the replacement seats. It is now May 2012, we now have three chairs that are sinking (one is not usable at all.) Depending who we speak to, we have been told that the set is discontinued by the manufacturer and that it is only not being carried by Raymour And Flanigan. They cannot get their story straight. We were told we could reselect the chairs, but they no longer carry anything that matches the table or china cabinet. I was also told a manager at the Customer Service Center in Culver Road that we would be charged between 3-5% usage fee for the time we had the chairs if we wanted to return them. We were told by the Staten Island store manager that they cannot do anything because it would cause the store money, and the store cant lose out. I asked if the customer who was stuck with shoddy merchandise should lose out, and she repeated that I could not expect the store to lose out. Poorly manufactured merchandise, and terrible customer service.

I furnished my ENTIRE house with Raymore and Flannigans furniture....BIG MISTAKE. What you get when you shop there is nothing more than low-mid level quality furniture. My dining room set has 6 chairs..every one has sunken thru because of poor craftsmanship and building materials. My sofa set has already been repaired twice and Im waiting for a third visit from their repairman due to defects in manufacturing.... take my advise my friend...SHOP ELSEWHERE...BUYER BEWAREOF THE STATEN ISLAND STORE!!

Do not buy the platinum protection plan from Raymore and Flanagan. When I purchased the furniture the salesperson told me that EVERYTHING was covered for 5 years. However I purchased a dining room set on 4/12/13 for $2600.00. After only 6 months the chair padding started to get thin and unconfortable. I called Raymore and Flanagan a few months to complaint and have them repaired. Oppsss on me I was told everything was covered EXCEPT chair padding. Their customer satisfaction stinks.

THIS IS A DISPARAGING REVIEW OF THEIR PRODUCTS, NOT THIS STORE BUT I HAVE A BED FRAME FROM R AND F AND IT IS MADE WITH PRESSED WOOD, NOT PLYWOOD, THE VENEER IS VERY THIN, NOT TRUE WOOD AND THERE ARE NO SLIDERS. ONLY THREE BOX SPRING SUPPORTS, WEAK. THEY CHARGE A LOT AND GIVE YOU LITTLE. I GUESS THEY HAVE TO SPEND IT ON COMMERCIALS, ADD 30% TO PRODUCT COST THAT ADDS NO VALUE, OR WORKMANSHIP, TO PRODUCT.

As soon as I walked into Raymour I was approached by 10 sales people who tried to pressure me into a sale even though I did not see anything I liked. Most of the merchandise looked like low quality furniture that you can find in any port richmond store, and the prices were high compared to some other stores

I went to get a boxspring from this terrible place today and the sales man James was so nasty and unwelcoming and it made my experience terrible at this store. I would never suggest anyone to shop here. Best place to buy furniture is Bobs!

Went to the store Saturday ready to shop. NOT A SOUL approached me. One salesman had his earphones on listening to his Ipod. Maybe it was my lumberjack looking shirt... No matter. Ill be shopping elsewhere for my new furniture.

Been ther 4times dealt with Steven Kaj. He was always curteous and very knowledgable. Did not try to push more expensive items. I will always go back and deal with him anytime I am in the market for furniture.
