We ordered furniture end of April 2017 and the furniture delivery was a nightmare. The delivery guys damaged our door frame and they would not delivery our sofas to the second floor. Good thing we had contractors working on our home that day and they moved it up. We ended up paying money to our contractors for moving the furniture. Additionally, the delivery guys stated they would come back and fix the damages and they called VCF to let them know. This NEVER happened. And we called VCF numerous times. I posted a complaint in May 2017 on facebook and finally someone from VCF messaged me. They said they would submit a report for the damages and reimburse us and additionally give us a $150 gift card. It is now end of July and we have received neither. The gift card, I understand as it got returned to VCF because USPS is awful and never re-delivered. Hopefully VCF will send via UPS or FedEx instead. I contacted Drew regarding the damages and he is now not responding. overall, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Picked out sofas I wanted, delivered in wrong color. But decided to keep, because they matched my decor. Same furniture just wrong color. But after a month the stuff begand to fall apart, I had insurance, made calls followed instructions they gave me, but 3 weeks, 4 calls and finally a guy came to make repairs. LOL sewing needle and thread in hand thats it, something my mom could have used. Not a professional stitching job at all. The metal brackets on the recliners stick etc. I am tired of arguing to get repairs. Which is basically what they want you to do. SO I will write and grade them as poor, never buy from them again and make sure I tell all I know and you, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM !!!!

I had great displeasure of dealing with Value city Furniture in Bayonne NJ. this place is not customer service oriented at all. This honestly the most ghetto business place I ever been to. I was shoping for my sons bedroom set. as we walked in there few employees were at the front. No one even said hello to us. The person approached us was very unprofessional, kept disappearing on us. When I told him the total was a bit out of my budget. He got very upset. squeshed the estimate paper and walked away. I was very upset and went to Raymore& Flanigan. If you are looking for customer service do not go there. This place is for broken downs only ****.

Do not go to this place. My wife and I came by November 15th 2013. We were moving in to a new apt. on December 15th. We found some furniture we liked and asked that it be delivered then. When the time came around, they had forgotten about our order and the furniture was out of stock. Long story short, we have been on the phone with them for probably four or five hours total trying to hold them to their word. This is probably the most insincere business transaction I have ever taken part of. If you want to save yourself a headache and a lot of wasted time I strongly urge you not to shop here.

value city furniture is totally fraud. they put out fliers out in people mail to bring people in , example scratch off 40,50 60% off, a week before i went to get a price on new sofa set. total of $2456. i go in with the scratch off ticket ,which they had everyone from the area in the store because of the b.s fraud they put out on mail. same sofa set with the 60% off came out exactly the same $2456... conclusion value city furniture are fraud and scam. read reviews they furniture away breaks down , lol .

Dont pay cash , if you buy ,because if you have to return anything they dont tell you that if you buy with cash and need refund the corporate office wont pay you it back in cash they keep it and send you a check with in 14days... it written in back of your receipt they wont tell you anything about it verbally because who would buy anything if you knew something like that... Have never walked out of this place unhappy. I have gotten better deals from here than any Bobs discount store I have been too. Quality is a whole lot better here though. I recommend Eifraim or Charles as your salesman, very polite and knowledgeable at what they do. With free delivery on everything you cant go wrong in this place.

My dresser was completely destroyed in a move from Maryland to NYC. I was so hurt because I had just purchased the furniture (had it less than 6 months). I looked at the purchase agreement and called the store. Someone came out and accessed the damaged. I was given a brand new dresser! God bless them! Happy customer!

The furniture is pretty well made. It is not of Raymour quality but then again you arent paying Raymour prices. I found the furniture to be pretty affordable as well, especially with the payment plans they offer. Bobs is a little cheaper but the quality isnt as good.

So glad with the purchase! Salesperson was very patient and helpful.. we bought a 2pc sectional and its perfect for our new home! The delivery crew did an amazing job! It couldnt get into our front door so they had to bring it into our balcony.

I bought my couches here my couches came on time they are beautiful our coffe tables came they are beautiful however they did show up with a few deep srachtes which they touched up very nicely you would never know..... love my new living room

I dont understand how this place stays in business. Its a rip off and there never are people shopping. The place carries tacky, mediocre quality furniture and the staff looked so bored and unready to help.

rip offs....found the pieces of furniture I was looking for elsewhere for $335 less and they dont even try to negotiate with you on prices. The sales person was nice at first but then very cut and dry.
