They have a great organic selection, grass-fed meats, and good fair prices. It is often very crowded though and the parking situation is not designed for the volume of people coming and going. It seems like they are re-arranging and restocking in the store every time I go, and I dont always go at the same time of the day (it varies), but I invariably feel like I am in the way of the staff with their large carts everywhere all of the time. It feels chaotic in here to me. Miller Place location is also very busy at times, but I find I am able to get around more easily (not banging into people) and check out more smoothly than this one.

Always very crowded due to the lack of local supermarkets. The parking lot is an absolute nightmare, incredibly dangerous and poorly designed. The selection of food could be better and they need more deli counter workers and baggers.

Prices are ok for the area, they could be cheaper. Sometimes the fruits and vegatables are pathetic. Most of the meats are fresh, sometimes the chicken thats on sale is a bit questionable. Over all they are a satisfactory store.

I just move from South Florida, I miss the Publix were they open a cashier register just for us and every one know us, I guess that is uncommon...but was my impression the Publix are fanciers than stop&shop

If I buy something one week, its not there the next week. And they cant offer chicken salad at the deli on a consistent basis. But its clean and not scary.

Seems to always be horribly stocked. You have to check expiration dates on food, we have bought many products past expiration, some far past expiration.
