Its convenient to have a store so close to where I live, but every time I walk in to grab milk from their shelves I cringe. I doubt if it has been cleaned in the past year or more. If you happen to slip and touch the shelf? Your hand will smell like rotten milk until you get a chance to properly clean it. Even after a power outage, where the entire store was bare, they still didnt clean it!

They have a great organic selection, grass-fed meats, and good fair prices. It is often very crowded but the parking lot is way better and easier to deal with compared to the Setauket Stop & Shop, which I have also used a lot. I have usually been able to get around this store fairly effortlessly (like not running into people all the time as I do in Setauket) and check out smoothly.

After shopping in this store tonight I will NEVER shop at this store again...the filth in the meat cases is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.. there is so much bacteria in the cases..I would not buy meat in this store!! The manager agreed with the filth as i slowed him the pictures i had just and he did not do anything about it

Its a typical stop & Shop. Sale prices are always competitive. Selection is good. The only drawback is that during the late evening hours you can get stuck in a long line, and that really stinks at the end of a long day when youre just trying to pick up a few groceries for the kids. This is one of my weekly stops.

Outstanding grocery store. They are one of the busiest in the area (which is saying something), which allows them to stock more unusual, hard-to-find products compared to many other grocery stores in the area. It can get quite busy, especially around 5-6 pm on weekdays.

I called ahead to make sure that they had several specific things that I needed to make a recipe. I was told that they had them but when I arrived they did not they had told me mistakenly that they had something else that I didnt need for my recipe instead.

Good food with many options a bakery a place to buy fish and produce as well as boars Head products with great rotisserie chicken but doesnt have a a good selection of organic food though they do carry some just not that much.

Im done with this store and all Stop & Shop stores! Five people in S&S shirts STANDING around and BSing while I bag my groceries. Hope more do likewise and we can all watch the stores flounder.

Sale prices are good and they are usually well stocked. This store is so high volume, though, sometimes they have difficulty keeping up with stocking and cleanliness.
