I went to NEFJ Manchester to find the perfect ring for my soon to be fiance, and I definitely went to the right place. Their customer service was outstanding from the first day to the day we resized the ring. I worked with a variety of people, and they were all great!! First was Nicole, who I talked to on the first day, and she just made me feel so comfortable. Now, I own a landscaping company and had told my girlfriend that I was going to work, so I was in grungy work clothes. But, by how Nicole treated me, you would have thought I had walked in wearing a designer suit. Unlike Ninas who treated me like I was about to rob the place. I also had brought Duke, my german shepherd, and wouldnt have blamed her for being intimidated, but she was just nice and accomodating, making me feel very comfortable as I looked at engagement rings for the first time. A few days later, I emailed Nicole about the ring we had looked at, and she immediately emailed me a picture so I could see it again. I set up an appointment to come in and pick out a diamond, and to make a decision about the setting. Well, Nicole wasnt going to be in the store at that time, so she set me up the the store Manager, Vince. But she did get about 10 diamonds that fit what I wanted, and about 5 settings that she thought I would like. Vince was great too, I had his undivided attention for about 4 hours on a beautiful saturday afternoon. He sat there showing me diamond after diamond til I found the perfect one, never showing any impatience. He made me feel comfortable like he had done this a million times, while at the same time treating me like I was his first and most important customer. Then came the time to resize the ring. My fiance didnt want to have it gone for any time at all, so we went to the schenectady store. Nicole had set up an appointment with the jeweler. And the gentleman who took care of us was exactly that, a gentleman. He just made me feel as comfortable as could be. I dont remember his name, but regardless, he was just so nice and accomodating. Okay, I am rambling. The point is, the Northeastern staff made me feel so comfortable through the entire process. I will use them for any and all jewelery purchases that I make in the future.

Simply put, Northeastern Fine Jewelry has the best product in the Capital Region. They have competitive pricing and they still put enough care into the business to sit down with you and explain the nuances of diamonds and settings and work with you to find the perfect match. My wife is very happy because these guys made it happen and it looks awesome. I had it appraised after I walked out of there and I can honestly say I could not have done better elsewhere. They offer more than just engagement rings, there’s pretty much everything in there. Nice aesthetic too on the exterior at both the location in Guilderland/Albany on Western Ave and the one on Union St in Schenectady/Niskayuna. Highly recommended.

I was told about NEFJ when I was looking for a reputable jewelry store to size a ring that was passed down to me from my mother. It was very sentimental to me so I was nervous leaving it in just anyone’s hands. Not only did they do a great job but Debra immediately made me feel at ease when I started to get emotional explaining the sentimental value of the ring. She had such a warm, friendly personality, she made me feel comfortable instantly. She was very sympathetic and understood how important the ring was to me. I’m so happy I now have a jewelry store I can trust with my inherited jewelry!

My wife, over the years, has used a number of jewelers in the areas. She was interested in redesigning her diamond ring. I suggested going to Northeastern, along with all the others. I didnt push her to go to Northeastern... just visit them as part of the comparison of price/service. After visiting the 5 stores, she felt conclusively that Northeastern gave her the most attention with her needs, had a great design staff, and was more than competitive in their prices. Its definitely a valid testimonial to NEFJ - that they really are a cut above the rest of our local jewelry retailers.

I went to Northeastern Fine Jewelry to look for an engagement ring for my fiancée. I didn’t know much about diamonds so I was a little overwhelmed, but Debra was so patient with me. She sat down and explained everything about carat size, clarity, color grades, etc. By the time we were done I felt so knowledgeable, even my fiancée was impressed! And she LOVES her ring. I’m so glad I went there. Debra was amazing, she had such a pleasant and easygoing personality. She really knew her stuff but didn’t make me feel bad about asking 100 questions. It was an overall great experience.

I went to NEFJ for the first time to have two watches resized. I did not purchase either watch from the store. The store was immaculate and I was immediately greeted by a very friendly employee. I told him what I wanted done and he was more than gracious even though the watches were purchased online. He commented on how he liked both watches and showed genuine hospitality. I asked him about a specific product of which they didnt carry in that store but assured me he could get it for me when I was ready. Overall a great experience and I will certainly be back.

I went to Northeastern Fine Jewelry to have the bracelet adjusted on my Oris. I didnt buy my watch from them and in fact Northeastern doesnt sell Oris, but they were more then happy to adjust my bracelet and even complemented my watch. I had a chance to browse around the shop while I was waiting and observed how they treat their actual customers and I was impressed. The cost for the bracelet adjustment was a handshake and a smile. I plan on owning an Omega one day and when that time comes Ill be buying it from Northeastern. Thank you.

My wife and I stopped into Northeast Fine Jewelers on Saturday to look for a Valentines Day gift. We were greeted warmly and assisted as we looked over some different optons. Our salesperson offered to clean my wifes wedding band and ring while we shopped. We found some very nice Ed Levin earrings at a great price. Our selection was gift wrapped and we were done with our shopping in less than fifteen minurltes. We will definately be back there again for our next jewelery purchase.
