Get out the wedding bells, because it was time for the next party at West Elm. Now I always wanted to get married someday, and this event put it all into prospective for me with multiple stations of different ideas to look through. West Elm is a gorgeous store filled with luxury items, furniture, chandeliers, and chairs to name a few. A bonus is that we received 20% off anything at the store to buy, including any future wedding gifts. It was nice to see all the models in wedding gowns from Silk Bridal, many of whom looked like the perfect Vanna White. I do wish there were some male models showing off some groom tuxes, but I was happy with my tux for the event from Vittorios Menswear and Tuxedo. There was also a spot to donate any dresses to the Fairy Godmothers of Rochester, which ended up having a closet full by the end of the night. A huge bridal gift basket was also up for grabs, and went to Namthip X., who currently just got engaged to her hubby. Jealous because I am still waiting for a ring on my finger. Around the entire store of West Elm, you could check out all the bouquets of flowers set up by Stacy K. Floral. I liked that Stacy K. matched her flower sets with the table covers throughout. On the bar side you had Black Button Distillery serving you great cocktail reception drink ideas. I always enjoyed there ApplePie Moonshine, only this time it was turned into a Margaretta. The Margarita was refreshing on a night like tonight, and kept me coming back for more. Next to the ApplePie Moonshine cocktail was there traditional Bourbon Cream, which always makes me want to have an Oreo Cookie after. If you need a caffeine booster, Ugly Duck Coffee will certainty do the trick. There cappuccino tasted amazing with 2 parts milk, and 1 part espresso. I love the designs this guy did with the froth on top of the cup for each guest, really working up a sweat like my leaf design. Now if youre looking for reception food ideas, there was plenty to go around. Get Caked had a scrumptious Chocolate and Butter Cream frosted cupcake. What took this cupcake over the top was the caramel frosting whipped on it, along with the cake being moist inside, The cupcakes were also glutton free and vegan accommodating to every guests needs. Chefs Caterings had a crunchy parmesan crusted snack crostini with tomatoes drizzled with a balsamic glaze. The balsamic glaze tied this finger food together perfectly, and had me grabbing for more. Roots Catering had these addicting avocado crostini which was mixed with olive oil, and balsamic. Working my way around, I ended up at the Genesee Center for the Arts wedding reception invitation station. Megan Carter from 98 PXY, and I went through a bunch of stamps to make the perfect wedding coaster. As usual we fooled around with everything before we knew the correct way of making it. You can find Megans coaster at the next Tilt a Whirl Drag Show at Tilt. With coaster in hand, it was time to hit the dance floor with DJ Alykhan blazing the beats, this guy really knows how to get people to bump and grind. Finally, we capped off my unofficial wedding reception with multiple photos at the Hypebooth. Overall: A Wedding Success, DJ Alykhan, ApplePie Moonshine from BlackButton, Roots Catering, Chefs Caterings, Ugly Duck Coffee, West Elm, Get Caked, Stacys Florals, Silk Bridals Models, and The Fairy Godmothers of Rochester...One of These Days I Might Get Married.

We went in just to browse, and ended up spending way more than anticipated! West Elm has beautiful pieces and they had amazing deals going on. Zac helped us throughout the day and was so easy and nice to work with! He didnt follow us around or pressure us to do anything we werent sure about. Best furniture buying experience ever!

Walked in there to buy a sectional that is in my online cart, but we got completely ignored by the staff who were not busy nor helping other clients, after 15min we just walked out. Otherwise, same beautiful showroom like they have in other cities.

We liked the quality and style of the products, and the staff were very helpful. A good selection of modern furniture and decor. The prices are higher than some other "build it yourself" outlets, but still reasonable for the look and quality.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Prices can be viewed as high, but quality is what they do. Amazing home decor items. Not sure how big the chain is.
