We were looking for 2 new sofas. Initially we opted for instant delivery but could not find the color, style and quality and price we like. Then we started looking for custom made sofas. Visited some of the stores in Columbia, Baltimore, Glen Burnie and Ellicott City areas. When we looked at the Lancer Sofas at Oak Tree we were greatly impressed by style and price. It had sleeper and mattress included. Looked at the company website and were impressed by that too. All sofas are made in NC. We opted for custom fabric, lots of choices and designs were there. We found a very good design. Staff answered all our questions promptly. All for around $1600.00 per sofa. We also told the manager about previous experience with different store that sofas would not go into the room where we were planning to put them. Manager asked the measurements, we gave him. He measured the sofa and confirmed the sofa will fit into door and hallway. Plus delivery charges are for the entire order and doesnt change based on the order sizes so that was also cool money saver. We found that the delivery staff is also employees of Oak Tree Furniture. So we didnt have to worry about delivery. They said it would take 6-8 weeks for the delivery. But around 4th week got a phone call the sofas were ready. That was very good news. The delivery gentlemen brought the sofas very carefully. It fit into the main door but not thru the hallway. But they removed the legs and then it passed thru smoothly. Installed the sofas where we wanted them. They removed all the trash and carried them way. No scratches, no dents, 2 pure sofas decorate our family room!!!! The family room has become attraction of the home!!!! The whole process has been smooth and without hassle!!!!

After looking at a variety of chain furniture stores bedroom furniture sets, my husband and I walked into Oak Tree amazed by the size of the place and the HUGE difference in the quality of the furniture. We found ourselves really loving the Yutzy bedroom sets (one of the Amish brands), even though they were a bit above our budget. However, that difference in quality from the others wed seen was worth every penny. We didnt find an entire set we liked (wed like the bed but not the dressers with it, or vice versa). The lady who was helping us let us look through Yutzys catalog, and we found a set we loved. We customized the type of wood and stain color to suit our desires and placed our order. I have to admit that it was scary to buy an expensive furniture set (bed, dresser, 2 end tables, tall chest, bedside chest) without seeing it first in person, but when it came, we loved it even more than what we saw in the catalog. It arrived 9 weeks after we placed the order. We had a few minor issues (missing night table feet, 2 uneven drawers, a split piece of inner wood, one tight drawer), but the very kind and knowledgeable repair man promptly came out to fix them all. Other than that, it was a great experience!

We have only had wonderful experiences at Oak Tree Furniture! We originally went o purchase dressers for our bedroom. The sales staff were helpful, but not pushy at all (and that can be a huge deterrent for furniture shopping!). We found two nice dressers, and they were on sale, so that was a huge plus! We then found out that they offered a military discount (my husband and I are both active duty) on top of the discounted price! The furniture is expensive, but with the two discounts, it helped lower the price quite a bit! With that said, the furniture is well worth the price, because you are getting quality furniture that will last much longer than anything you would buy at stores like Ikea. We also had a huge desk that we had refinished at this store. The staff did an AMAZING job on the desk. They refinished it, cut down the size, built a custom drawer, and built brand new footings for the desk. It is absolutely beautiful, and it was worth every penny. The staff was helpful from start to finish, and extremely knowledgable on the proper way to refinish furniture. We are so so happy with the job they did, and will 100% recommend Oak Tree Furniture to anyone who needs their furniture done! Thank you!!!

I purchased a Simmons Big Daddy futon (around $1000) from Oak Tree furniture. After 6 months of normal use the front bar on the futon frame broke. I called Oak Tree to determine if the warranty was with Oak Tree, or with the manufacture. They informed me that they would take care of the problem, and asked for pictures of the broken piece. After receiving the pictures they accused me of breaking the futon, and said they would not honor the warranty. They did not ask how the frame broke, or for any additional information about our use of the futon. I informed them that I did not agree with the assessment as the futon is in a low traffic area, and receives minimal use. For the record, it broke in the course of being extended from sofa mode to bed mode - normal use. The staff member with whom I was speaking transfered me to the owner of the store, who confirmed that we were at fault, and went on to inform me that he no longer wanted me as a customer. I would recommend against purchasing anything from Oak Tree as they have no interest in supporting their customers after a purchase. Id suggest shopping at Arhaus in Baltimore as they actually care about their customers.

EXCEPTIONAL experience all-around. Oak Tree Furniture is really one-stop shopping for all of your furniture needs. This was the first and last place I looked for dining room furniture. With a purchase of this size, you would think you need to shop around, but not so. Oak Tree not only had a large selection to accommodate exactly what we wanted, the customer service was truly outstanding (a compliment I do not give out lightly). When spending money on something that you want to have for a long time, you want to know that you are making the right decisions. Oak Tree guided us through this process with their extensive knowledge, experience, and professionalism. We never felt rushed or pressured which created an environment that allowed us to pick exactly what we wanted and feel good about our purchase. We walked out of there feeling like we got exactly what we wanted, at a very fair price, and the shopping experience added to our excitement about the purchase. We will go back to Oak Tree for our future furniture shopping.

I bought a dresser from Oak Tree Furniture around Christmas time to match furniture that I already had. It took a little over 8 weeks for the dresser to come in, which was within the time frame that they had given me when I ordered the dresser. The quality of the dresser was excellent, minus the felt lining in the jewelry drawers, which did not mimic the quality of the rest of the dresser. I expressed the concern to the staff, dropped off the drawers and they had them fixed within a week and half. Overall, I am happy with the dresser and it looks and feels like a high quality piece of furniture. I gave Oake Tree 4/5 stars because overall, I think it is a high quality furniture store that I would recommend to others looking for expensive pieces, however the small incident with the drawers showed me that they did not review the product before it was shipped out. But the problem was fixed to satisfaction. The staff is friendly and welcoming when you arrive in the store and they have a huge warehouse with many options.
