We LOVE this shop. Im not the typical biker in that Im obese and hadnt biked seriously in quite some time. They were welcoming and supportive. They also have female employees, which was not something that I observed/noticed at other bike shops. Shana, the store Manager, is awesome! Actually, all of their employees are wonderful. And, they have a shop dog. Shes fantastic! Anyway... Ive been contemplating the purchase of a bike for several years. I spoke with these folks last year and they were very informative. They spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions. Life got hectic and I didnt buy a bike at that time. This year, when I had decided that I was FINALLY going to purchase a bike, this was the first place that I visited. They spent an entire Saturday with my partner and I fitting us for bikes to test ride. They answered all of our questions and provided us with plenty of opportunities to ride different bikes that might meet our needs. I was ready to buy a bike from them that day. Eric (who was amazing) actually suggested that we visit other bike shops and ride as many bikes as possible to be sure that the bikes we were interested in were the best fit. In that context, we visited 6 bike shops in three days. Of those bike shops, none even compared to FMV in terms of customer service, interest in our biking goals, etc. They ranged from dis-interested, to focusing on selling us the most expensive bike possible, to ok customer service, but not very personalized service. We went back to FMV and purchased our bikes the following week. The support that theyve provided has been fantastic. When we enter the shop, they greet us by name and seem genuinely interested in our satisfaction with their products. They offer a free 1 hour informational session each Saturday, which I have attended for the past several weeks. Topics range from tire changes, to preventive maintenance, to shifting. Holly, one of the staff and a great teacher, fit me for clipless peddles and taught me how to use them. Shes immeasurably patient and kind! Brian, the service manager, is also very friendly and has been helpful with everything from saddle testing, to track installation, etc. Check them out! Youll be glad you did.

Ive never gone out of my way to write a review for a business on Google before, but Full Moon Vista definitely deserves to be recognized for their dedication to customer service! After coming in 15 minutes prior to close Shana and Brian were super sweet and helped me pick a bike, fit me for it as well, and answered all my questions, mean while my high energy 6 year-old son was welcomed by their adorable shop dog and Shana even answered all of his endless questions as well! They stayed past close the first night I came in just to check the place out, however I knew immediately that I would be back the next day to get my bike from them! When I came back late, the second night in a row to finish my fitting, they stayed almost an hour past close to help me again! I shopped around at another bike shop in Greece where I live and I can tell you the difference from when you walk in to Full Moon Vista compared to other shops is unprecedented! They truly welcome you and your family in, and dont care what level of biker you are and dont make you feel awkward for asking questions. My whole experience was extraordinary and I cant say enough good things about them! It doesnt matter how much or how little experience you have in biking, their passion and joy for what they do truly transcends to their customer and you cant help but feel their excitement for riding! Its contagious!!! Full Moon Vista...you truly are an amazing Rochester gem!!!

I came into this store looking for a commuter bike as a total novice and received an incredible amount of assistance. Todd spent over an a hour comparing potential alternative bikes, reviewing safety, fitting, and helping me with concerns I didnt even know existed. Not only that they allowed me to test drive the bike around the street to make sure it was the right fit. The people here seem to show a genuine concern that youre getting the right bicycle. Brian was incredibly helpful and gave information while the paperwork was being filled. Even checking out they applied discounts which were unknown to me saving me 16% of what I thought I would pay. Overall as someone who was concerned about being swindled and taking advantage of I can say that this place is definitely worth checking out and should be worth a visit if youre considering to buy your first "real" bike. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

I stopped by there on the recommendation of a friend. Boy, am I glad I did! The manager introduced herself and was very pleasant. No pressure at all! Explained what I was looking for, and she made a couple of recommendations - again, no pressure. Before any test rides, she introduced me to some of the staff, including the owner. Again before talking about test rides, etc., they fitted me to a bike - full fitting! Then came the test ride - they were the ONLY ones of the 5 or so shops I visited to allow a test ride beyond the parking lot. VERY customer-oriented, understanding! I informed her at the get-go that this was my first stop, and that I needed to shop around, which I did. Ended up a tie between their Trek and a Specialized. The selling point was the relationship they cultivated - small shop, personalized service, no pressure! 6 out of 5 stars!! AWESOME!!!!

I love riding bikes, but after being on for a short time I always wanted to quit because I was uncomfortable. Therefore, the garage was full of bikes that we never rode because they were too hard to ride. Finally went to a real bike shop. Talked to Shauna made an appointment to try out some bikes and get fitted properly. I am a very petite short woman and hard to fit in anything! With great patience Shauna not only got me into the bike of my dreams, my guy John also bought a bike. The customer service is wonderful, as a newbie I never felt intimidated or talked down to. Shauna spent time fitting John to his bike as well. We ended up with two Treks and took our first longish ride together and had a blast. Thanks Full Moon Vista and Shauna for a great experience!! Sincerely Vikki and John

I was interested in buying a TREK PURE cruiser beach bike in the shop (full moon vista), that was a 2013 model. I visited Berts bikes and they had newer versions of the same model, but they were cheap looking . Full-moon was selling the 2013 bike for 30% over msrp. When i asked if they could come up with a better price they were reluctant to bargain at all. I couldnt figure out if it was a pure bluff or just plain arrogance on their part. Not only did I buy a bike, but I bought another one for myself. It paid to call up another place, (RV&E), and in 5 minutes save over $140 per bike. I wouldnt buy a bell for my bike from Full Moon in the South wedge.. Its especially insulting to be lied to and ripped off. I just dont understand how this place stays in business overcharging their customers.
