I shopped around, so by the time I got to Bike Zone I had a good idea of competitors pricing and service expectations from sales staff. Im happy to say these expectations were exceeded based on my experience with Bike Zone. Ken & Dave were extremely helpful in finding me the right bike and getting it fit precisely based on my body (they put the bike on a trainer inside the store and make sure that all the adjustments are made to handlebars, seat post, etc. so youre riding comfortably & most efficiently). They even allow you to test ride any bike outside to help you find what feels comfortable, which to me is invaluable info (hard to do that in the big box stores). These guys know their stuff, much moreso than any other sales people I talked to at other shops, and have a helpful way of equipping you with the info to make a good decision on your purchase. They have great bike maintenance clinics too that teach you firsthand how to change a tire, lube the chain, etc. Id definitely recommend this shop if youre in the market.

Recently purchased my first (real) bike from these guys, taking my other bike in for adjustments (Cheap bike from an outlet store that ends in mart). Was immediately sold on a trek DS 8.3 thanks to their recommendation and expertise and took back the old bike as soon as possible. Ive been extremely happy with my purchase and these guys have been there ready to help with anything i mightve needed. Truly exceeded my expectations and i cant recommend them enough. If youre looking for a new bike, a tune up or adjustment, or even any accessories you might have wanted to add to your collection, give these guys a visit. Ill definitely be back.

These guys are the BEST OF THE BEST!! Dave the owner is a great guy. Kenny another worker at the shop is also an incredible guy very knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about. They will take the time to diagnosis a problem with a bike and on many different occasions they will fix it right on the spot. The pricing on labor is great. I cant say enough about theses guys other than i would never go to another bike store then bike zone on the ridge... YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!

Bike Zone is the bomb! I needed a new fat bke I purchased from BZ set up for summer use and they nailed it! I may have to go with this new configuration year-round its so sweet! Dave understood what I wanted to do right off the bat. Other shops try but BZ delivers! They have the best prices and the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff. Been avid mountain biker for the last 20 years and have not only bought many bikes from this shop, but always my first choice for repairs and maintenance (when I get in over my head). Dave is great to work with and Justin has always helped to get my bike back on the trails in a pinch. These guys have high integrity, know their stuff, and have a lot passion for bikes....highly recommend this local bike shop!

Brought in my limited edition bike that has extremely rare parts and tire sizings. Although they could not help us (the parts are only sold in England) they referred us to a man who could, which is pretty amazing considering how competitive small businesses have to be with each other. Ive since had Bike Zone work on two other bikes in my family and they are always efficient and well-priced.

I have 4 bikes from Dave and his staff at The Bike Zone. They are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and their prices are great, especially when you consider the service you get after the sale. I would not go to any other store in Rochester for a bike. New and used, they are great! I would click 5 stars but they would not let me!!

Small shop that can be seen at the corner of Long Pond road and English road. The staff is very helpful, and the prices are very fair. I brought my tire in to be trued, and I offered them my phone number, and instead he said he was going to do it "right now" and in less than 10 minutes it was done! I would highly recommend them.

Was told not to bring my inferior bike back. He didnt have time to waste on something so inferior. And after spending $90 to fix the brakes, they still dont work. Makes you wonder if they know what they are doing.
