Had a great experience here today. My friends guitar was stolen a long time ago while he was in a VA facility for almost a year. While killing some time waiting for an appointment in the area, he went in to Budget Buy& Sell to browse and saw his guitar. After speaking with associates at BB&S, and the police, the whole process of getting it back without bringing down some very dear people to him, he was ready to let it drop. Hes a brother at my church and some of us really wanted to get his guitar back, so I went there today,told them the story, which they knew, and they gave me such an awesome price, feeling it was the right thing to do. They didnt have to,and Im so grateful they did,because I cant wait to see the look on this brothers face when he sees his guitar back where it belongs. Thank you gentleman. ..it feels good to make someones day,doesnt it?

I just want to express my wonderful experiences in BUDGET BUY & SELL. I accomplished all my Christmas & Birthday shopping at this store. I have visited this store during this Christmas season 2016. What a easy task it was like one stop shopping for me. The prices were "Fantastic " No one I know can beat their prices..I am a avid shopper. Comparison shopping is my middle name. I am so happy & stress free of the items I purchased. The Budget crew treats everyone like family. I leave this store feeling like a winner. They will accommodate all needs during your shopping experience. I recommend this store to everyone...I am not joking. I will close by saying I can not understand why anyone would write a negative view about Budget. Just go there, experience what I did. Merrry Christmas & Happy New Year 2017... Budget Buy & Sell... you made my Christmas!!!!!

This is my first ever review on anything, I usually dont get into these things because I have reasons to think people are biased or too sensitive. But this was a very bad experience on my part and I had to say something. I went to sell my coin collection in the winter months. I was ignored when I first walked into the store during opening hours. I had to wait about 5 minutes while the man at the front counter was texting to pay attention to me. I placed my coins on the counter and then the man quickly moved the coins around without looking at them and said, "nothing". I then took out an extremely rare coin that I knew was worth a couple hundred and he said the same thing. Overall: Dont bring your coins here. I cant say anything other than what I have experienced. I hope your experience will be better than mine. Thanks for reading.

I have been to Budget Buy & Sell on 3 separate occasions, including today, and I have found them to be professional and thorough. I dealt with Jim on two of those occasions and he gave me the best deal on the items I sold even after I shopped around. Jim was also courteous, professional, and an all around nice man. Believe me, I didnt want to sell some of my things, but I needed to do so. Jim took a discouraging situation and made it as comfortable as possible. I will refer all of my friends and family members to Budget Buy & Sell. They have been in business for 20 plus years and I think that you are in business for that long by always acting professionally and caring about your customers. I strongly disagree with the person who thought the people at BBS were crooks. They are not.

Reputable places will offer at least 98%+ spot market for gold coins; this place seemed to definitely be taking advantage of the economy and low balled me as well. Since I am not originally from the area, I was suckered in by their misleading commercials. It was a complete waste of time; they offered me 80% of market, which is absurd for pure 1-ounce gold coins. The quantity argument is BS; I thankfully found a place in St. James (A&D Gold & Silver) and they are offered me only $30 off of current market for 1 coin, which is beyond fair and a complete contrast to the shady practices at Budget Buy and Sell.

The only reason Im giving one star is because I cant do zero stars... they totally tried to take advantage of me.. I walked in with over $1k worth of jewelry when the guy then tried to offer me $50 bucks for everything. Then tried to use the excuse that it had a custom design and would be to hard to try and move/sell. There was nothing about my jewelry that would be hard to move, it was beautiful and expensive, white gold and black diamonds. Needed the money for rent, otherwise, would never sell it. This place is a joke and so are the people who think they are professionals that work there

I had a great experience there! I was taking my children on a cruise and wanted extra spending money. I brought in all my old 90s xoxo jewelry and could not believe how much they gave me as opposed to other jewelers in the area. They are honest and not shady like most pawn shops. I felt very comfortable with them . I am sure they deal with alot of different people coming in and out on a daily basis, and need to keep their guard up. Artie actually helped me and did the right thing.

BBS was recommended by a friend. I had some jewelry to sell. I wanted to get a fair deal. I stopped at 3 other gold buying places before I went to BBS. I did not tell BBS the price I got from the other places but BBS beat all prices. The nearest was $200 less then I was paid. If you are unsure about your gold, stop at other places first then go to BBS. I was not disappointed. I dealt with Jim. I think he is the owner.

If I was able to give no stars and a middle finger I would. The worst place to go for selling anything. The guy was a hustler. Not honest in any way, just wanted to take advantage for the sake of making a buck.....I definitely was ripped off and lied to.... Wish I knew the guys name. Hes short and stocky with a crappy attitude. I would never recommend this place unless you want to be ripped off.

We have visited Budget Buy & Sell on several occasions to get rid of unwanted jewelry. Their staff is very helpful, and we always get top dollar for our merchandise. I recommend Budget Buy & Sell whenever I have the opportunity to anyone that is looking to get rid of unwanted jewelry or other items. We are extremely happy with the service they provide.

Worst place. Before they even see what I have to offer they start grimacing to make me believe what I have is nothing worth while. Then make excuses that make no sense such as," since this gold necklaces latch is broken , it will be hard to sell." Then try to low ball you.
