I went to Gold Trader with a 14k two tone white gold bracelet from Italy. The guy working at the counter scrapped my bracelet three times to conduct testing, then gave me an offer. A very low offer. The bracelet is worth easily 1,000+, google it. The owner walked behind him during our conversation, picked up my bracelet and "scratched" my bracelet again. He had the nerve to tell me it wasnt real gold. I told him theres no way the same material could pass once then fail the 4th time. After the first guy scratched my bracelet 3 different times during the first test. When he responded I told him Im not disputing it because I know what I have. I then quickly told the owner to give me back my property and he tried to make a deal with me as walked out the store. I walked away so fast what he was telling me was inaudible. I took it to another jewelry shop to trade in my bracelet. They conducted the test and gave the specifications and offered me a higher price. Not in my life will I ever go to Gold Trader to buy jewelry or sell jewelry. Clearly based on the last comment this is not the first time they have tried to scam a customer out of their gold. I would recommend that everyone avoid this place of business like the plague. (The owner is the gray haired man in the commercial analyzing the gold. Either he doesnt know what hes doing or hes a professional scam artist that takes advantage of his customers.)

I had 7 pieces of jewelry that I had taken to gold traders for a quote! When I got the quote I felt that I had been lowballed! When I told the clerk that I would think about their offer they proceeded to increase their offer, I obviously had been given a low quote prior, finallly the owner came over and asked me how much I really wanted for the items to which I responded a price that is fair! I left and a week or so later went to a place on route 5 in West Springfield that a friend had suggested, and they offered me $100.00 more for just 5 of the pieces, that gold trader had offered $100.00 less for all 7 items -- What a rip off - well I guess somebody has to pay for all those commercials & actors.I would not recommend Gold Trader to any one!

visited this place today to obtain estimate for a 14k chain. had gone elsewhere couple days prior and obtained amount about $5.00 lower so I decided to sell it to gold traders anyway. In my conversation with the girl I mentioned there is some negative feedback online about this business. They flatly denied this and showed me another unrelated gold trader website to make me out to be wrong. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this place to sell your gold. They outright didnt want to admit I was right about the comments.

Everyone dont go here. They dont know there a** from there elbow. Their unaware of silver world marks. And pay the lowest in price . They also do everything deceptively by calculating their pricing and the weight so its not visible to the customers. Stay away. Went 2 times and will never return!

I went to gold trader for the first time today and the lady there was amazing I got more money back for my broken jewelry than I thought I would have!!! She so made my day!!!! I will be going back home to find more of my broken jewelry!!! Thank you again gold trader!!!

I brought in two pristine gold coin.I was given a price of $300.00 under spot gold. It was nice they wanted to make $600.00 in 60 seconds .I called ahead and was told they could not ball park a price. So do not waste your time or gas

My last experience was exactly that. The guy tried to tell me my chain was 10 kt when it was 14 and he then apoligized...but i feel he still gave me a too low in the chain..

I was told jewelry wasnt real, then after questioning salesman re-looked at results and reported that the jewelry was indeed real. Would not be comfortable returning.
