**AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS** Why there are no shopping carts? Im ASSUMING and almost CERTAIN they are all left in storage or in back with ALL the TOYS That need to be placed back ON THE SHELVES, which leads to empty shelves. They do not have payroll to pay their workers to stay overtime to do the job right. They do NOT have dedicated workers to do the job right. Most, if not all, employees (sales associates and cashiers) are there to make whatever "little" side money they can get and just mess around in the store and have drama and crap. Seriously! They are very lazy, do not are about customers, probably wont even succeed in life wherever they go if they agree to still work for this hell whole. Thats right EMPLOYEES leave me feedback, leave me comments. Im DIRECTING THIS AT YOU! You ALL making this store the worst. Quit the job, let REAL employees step in and fix the store for the best, or else you will all lose your jobs and go out business. As for the store, if there are bad reviews on here and on yelp, its for a reason. The store sucks! Unorganized, poor management, bad staff. Took a turn for the worst few years ago, and Im positive they will go out of business. Take your business elsewhere to either Rego Park or even better, Times Square NY Toys R Us. Take our advice! JAY

Una estrella es mucho por el mal servicio, pedimos una bicicleta para recoger en esta tienda. Nos llegó la confirmación del cobro de mi orden y que esperara por un email que me diría que mi orden estaría lista para recoger. Díez días después me llega un email que mi orden fue cancelado por no recoger mi orden, llamó a customer service, me confirman que no mandaron ni un email para recoger mi orden, pero que me devolverán mi dinero y que no pueden hacer nada más, aunque tienen 4 bicicletas en Time square. Díez Díaz para Nada. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!

This is a horrible store. Watch out!! Employees are unpleasant. I purchased a Maclaren stroller for $250+, and my friend suggested we open it at the register. When we did, we found a crappy $30 Disney stroller inside - the box was properly sealed too. Also, they told me they would get a new stroller in but I would have to pay for it in-store. They promised it would be there by Thursday, and it didnt come in until Saturday. When I called to complain on Thursday and Friday the manager who promised me the stroller would be in by Thursday lied to my face and told me they dont even get deliveries on Thursdays!!! Then on Friday she literally told me shed call me back to check if it had arrived and never did. I called her to check after an hour and a half and they had closed for the day. How convenient. Stay away from this store... there are other Toys R Us stores with pleasant employees that will provide a great shopping experience.

Absolutely rude! As I approached the open door, an employee rushes over (looked like a manager) and blocks the door. I ask if they are closed and he says yes. Fine. As I ask him what time they open tomorrow, he closes the door, so I cant hear his response. I tell him I cant hear him through the CLOSED DOOR! He barely raises his voice. Really? Closing the door on my face? What was I going to do, rush in and process the return myself?? Its called common courtesy, Babies R Us manager. Because of rudeness like yours I will just purchase things online instead, and only go to brick and mortar stores that have decent customer service, like the BRU in Whitestone. My mistake for attempting to go to this one. NEVER AGAIN.

My wife hates this place with a passion. She had one particularly rude encounter with an assistant manager who refused to look her in the face and just kept saying "No" without listening. I havent had a bad encounter but Ive never been overly impressed either. Kind of dingy, so-so inventory. One Christmas season I was dumb enough to forget a nephew and had to go out to buy a toy on Dec 24th. This store was dumb enough to not have enough people working the check-outs or working the lines to keep things moving smoothly. It was over an hour wait. Everybody involved (including myself) should have know that Christmas falls on Dec 25th and it pays to be prepared for it.

I made a purchase online using a gift card and the items was never received at my home.. item was shipped back to the warehouse and it has been over a month and I have not received my return.. I called your customer service regarding my refund only to find out that item has been sitting in your warehouse but they failed to go ahead and process my return and credit me the money. This is unacceptable , I will be letting all my friends not to shop via your website because this is a scam.

Not sure why its called an "Express" as I thought that was typically for small locations. While this TRU might be a little smaller than normal, the selection has everything you would expect. The baby/toddler toys are a little harder to find than normal in the back right corner of the store. Typical toy store with some merchandise scattered about as result of the littlest shoppers, but that might be mostly due to my visit being so late in the day.

If only I could give this store zero stars! It is hands down the worst Toys R Us/Babies R Us. Store is always a mess, merchandise all over the floor, dirty and disgusting. The check out line has taken me 45 minutes at times to get through. Never enough cashiers, the Cashiers are rude and have zero customer service. Management is incompetent at best. Stay far away, this store needs to be shut down, its an embarrassment.

I went in to exchange a board game that I bought for my niece .I have both receipt and the card I purchased with, this women said she couldnt do the exchange because I didnt have my I.D.Yet I could exchange it if I only had my card and no receipt and no I.D!!This is absurd ,now I have to come back and with my I.D complete waste of time .Im returning now ,I rather take my business elsewhere!!

Very good customer service Mr. Sal the best work every time I visit Toys R Us he helps me as soon as I describe the item for him he knows what I m talking about Mr. Sal JUST THE BEST WORKER IN ALL TOYS R US LOCATIONS IN NEW YORK CITY I WANT TO DIFFERENT LOCATION BUT THEY ARE SO NASTY PEOPLE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS GO GO GO MR. SAL GOOD JOB!!!

Great Service. Not sure what all the fuss is about. Saw a lot of bad reviews regarding service. I walked into the store and was greeted by multiple staff. They helped me find what I needed and when one item wasnt in stock, the associate helped me look for another store that had it. They were fast, friendly and knowledgeable.

Several months without any shopping carts! Half empty shelves, everything else mislabeled. The back is warehouse portion they clearly attempted to reclaim to make the store larger and is a mess. Never enough cashiers, read 1- for checkout and service. An employee actually told me to go to Rego Park instead.
