Store has a lot of models to choose from yet seems to lack any good workers. I heard about this store and immediately got excited. I drove almost two hours to go see the store and pick up a good deal of models and supplies with a few particular kits in mind. When I walked in I didnt get so much as a hello, after walking around the store for about 30 minutes I had still not heard a word from the workers, not a tip, a friendly suggestion, and certainly not asking if I needed help. When I did ask for advice they seemed annoyed that I had disturbed the conversation the were having amount themselves. To top it off you get a card for every $10 you spend and when you spend $150 you get 15% off your next purchase. I spent $99 and they didnt wanna mention I was a dollar away from 1 more punch on the ticket. Oh and they forgot a small item and left it out of my bag ($5 wasted since I wont drive back) went looking to buy a few perfect grades, a Rex model 1/100 scale, and maybe some MGS went with $550 intending to spend ended up spending under $100 just so the drive wasnt a full waste. Already told my local hobby shop about it all and a few decided to just shop for gundam models else where. Tldr: great selection horrible staff that couldnt care less.

Through the web, by phone, or visiting their physical location, the service provided by Gundam Planet, relative to other hobby stores, is unparalleled. I started off by ordering in groups, aiming for the free shipping in every order. The packages always came in a timely manner and the contents were always in tact. The website is also very easy to follow, though, for my taste, some of the UI needs to be improved. Overall, great experiences online every time! Recently, there was some personal business I had to attend to in New Jersey, so I took a bus from Boston and was stuck there all day. I decided to pay a visit to their physical store. Theres not much else youll see apart from the photos and videos from the Gundam Planet staff. However, meeting the kind people behind the web store was definitely worth the trip. I recommend this store to anyone living in the US. Whether it be ordering online or visiting the physical store, if you want Gunpla...or Ramen, this is the place to be!

Gundamplanet is the only place to get gunpla. Their customer support is the best Ive dealt with. After the recent difficulties in getting shipments from the west coast over,due to strikes in the area, I was worried about my order. I ordered from gundamplanet and another store for models releasing at the same time. When I was concerned I emailed gundamplanet and I had swift responses from them and they explained what was going on and sent me what they had for me in the meantime while they are still waiting for the other orders that havent made it. Meanwhile the "other site" that I ordered from I emailed multiple times for an item that should have arrived a month ago and still havent obtained a response. I havent been to their new facility since it opened more than a year ago but gundamplanet is a fantastic place to order from and their customer service is exemplary.

Just about every Gundam kit ever made, figure stands and tools, some other anime series figures as well. Pricing on par or below anywhere else. Easy to navigate website but, actually going there is better. When you walk in and actually see the inventory and displays for the first time its almost surreal. Its the Gundam store that the fans dream of, only its real! Did I mention the staff is great? They wont follow you around nagging or trying to get you to buy other things, I asked for what I was looking for and the gentleman knew exactly what and where it was. Walked out with two kits, a little Gundam figure for my daughter and a rewards card that they punch and gets you a discount once full. I would %100 recommend anyone who likes Gundam, building models, or anime to go there now and get ready to be blown away!

Today I traveled from Albany,NY to this fine establishment. Upon arriving I found out it was closed, but low and behold to my amazement the awesome staff let me and my buddy look around anyways. I got really lucky they just received fresh stock and got to have my pick of the store. Awesome layout, very organized, amazing selection and top notch pricing. Cash and Credit is accepted and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Helped me pick out exactly what I wanted and saved me a great deal of money. I suggest everyone and anyone who loves models, anime and especially Gundam visit this store promptly on the weekend when they are open to public hours.

Before I explain my experience here I must preface by saying store has an excellent selection, its clean and the prices are very reasonable. Ive been to the store a few times and my last two visits were awful in terms of customer service. Both times I was talked down to by the same employee for asking questions about some kits I wanted to buy. I dont know this employees name but he wears glasses and has a Charizard tattoo on his arm. Multiple other customers heard this happen and later told me hes gotten mouthy with them too. I would just like an apology honestly, cuz I do want to keep shopping there,

They have a great selection of models but two visits have been very different experiences. My first one was great me the person who was behind the counter that day more than answered all of my questions and we had a nice conversation about gunpla. My most recent visit (June 27) was a less than stellar customer service experience. The person behind the counter refused to let me split my order in half so I could take advantage of a discount card and then argue with me about after asking he would let me split the order since I drove over an hour to get to the store.

I love Gundam. The little woman knows this. she brought me there for an early birthday a week ago.. i am in love with the place. The staff is awesome, the selection is unreal. Although they didnt have the kit i would have liked to buy, they had a truck load to choose from. i was totally amazed to see Patlabor and Macross kits. but the killer is the little display case with the PG Freedom. I really found my new favorite store. Walked out of the store with an awesome MG Gelgoog, and full armour sd unicorn for her. I WILL BE BACK...

Had a great experience. I was into gunpla as a kid, and very recently decided to get back into it. In my search for MG kits I stumbled upon the store and it couldnt have been a happier accident. Selection is incredible, both in store and on the website. The staff waited patiently for any questions that I might have and really helped me to make informed purchases. It was refreshing not to be followed around by an employee trying to make a sale. I ended up leaving with two MG kits, and Ill absolutely be heading back in the next week or so.

Definitely a go to place if you enjoy building Gunplas. They have a wide variety of gunplas and also other kind of figures from different amines. And depending on where youre from or if youre willing to take a drive it beats waiting few days if you order it online from Amazon or eBay. The pricing is definitely great. I spent about an hour before I picked out what I wanted to purchase. Cant wait to finish building the kits I bought to go back and get some more !
