The selection is great. This place is HUGE and the items are clean. Theres no need to spend lots of money on things you may only use a couple of times. I got a couple of really nice blazers that I thought I might need for my new job and saved ALOT of money. Now that I am decluttering my apt, I know where to take the the things that I dont need anymore. Someone else might need them. It feels good to not let my perfectly good items go to the landfill. Oh and Ive never had a problem with the staff. Ive seen them deftly handle some of the wackos that wander in (one with a dirty dog!)

Great prices, and Wednesdays, most items are half-off! BUT, their new hours are terrible! The store says they "close at 6pm", but they actually **turn lights off** on customers (intentionally to get them out) at 5:46pm! Any shorts that are "9-5” professionals in nyc will not be able to make it to the store to shop before it closes on weekdays which is really disappointing. Those with a typical work schedule can now only shop on Saturdays.

I got THE BEST pair of comfortable jeans here, and a few fun shirts, and a cool side table. Good selection that turns over fairly often so if you see something, get it. The used DVD selection grows weekly and you can find some good deals. Most items are in good shape and prices are fair.

They have a large selection of items. Most of the clothes are used. The money from your purchase is used toward helping the Salvation Army. It is a worthy cause. If you look, you might find items that still have tags on it. Some items are in better shape than others. Very cheap.

Very poor telephone customer service. Just called to ask if they pick up furniture donations and the man who answered my call was very unprofessional. Better not go to work with such nasty attitude. Besides it was barely an hour since he had clocked in.

My daughter and I went to the Family Store last Friday. They were very courteous, and very helpful. I got a J. Crew shirt for $5 and a pair of pants from Talbots for $5. A very good deal indeed! They are as nice as can be.

Excellent selection of womens clothing. I am a size 4-6 and have found Brooks Brothers, Theory and other nice brands/labels. Super big selection of t shirts.I always find gold!

I donate here often and dont know why the hours are not posted. For drop off services this store location is open Mon - Sat - 10 AM to 7 PM. Closed on Sundays
