I like this store but its not the one i visit on a regular basis now dont go getting on my case I know its a thrift store but theyre still ways to appeal to the customer and Merchant Mark the merchandise accordingly make it look presentable and stuff too make us one by it I go in there and I have to go searching I mean I know you want to find that diamond in the rough but when you walk into the store and it reminds me of a flea market not a place to reuse reduce resale recycle items then Im not in the mood to go looking for those items I just walk out and get frustrated but and then theres other times Ive gone in and I was like wow somebody did some straightening up around here very well organized but I guess it depends on the time of year the Mouse stuff but less is more I think and maybe they should keep more in the storage room bring it out sometimes I think they bring out too much on the racks at one time and it just people grab from the racks and they dont have time to put it all by size and and I know its a lot of work but if they did that I think they would sell a lot more items just a thought or my thought thanks overall though overall though love the Salvation Army love the work they do support them 100% And I do shop at many of the other stores and I want to tell you my favorite cuz I dont want to make you guys feel less than adequate cuz youre not less than I could I absolutely do come to your store when Im in the area I dont care what Salvation Army story at store and then Wednesday Family Day half-price yes go for it at everyone should go on Wednesdays that will help them clear out their merchandise to Half Price and it is for a good cause so this by no means was a negative negative review on this its just that constructive criticism for this store to maybe just clean up a little bit less is more organized the racks and I think more people will find their way around I mean I know thats what I would do like I said Im going to other stores where it was completely organized by the sizes and the racks were separated and I know that theyre bigger stores out there and you guys are stuck in that you know in a storefront on the Avenue so that may have something to do with it and you get a lot of merchandise i, this review, nis just constructive criticism ..the salvation army overall this is a great organization .. God bless

Im not sure what all the bad reviews are about... I love to shop and travel through out the City to shop... This is the one of the few second hand stores that allows you to try on ur clothes before you buy. The people who are saying they sell junk must not know how to shop at a second hand stores... It does take time and patience... But I always find name brands like Mike and pink by Victoria sercet and I go once a week... Im wedesdays they have more than half of the stores 50% off... I never had an issue with the staff but Im an extra friendly person... Im not sure what everyone else is doing to tick ppl off???

As other customers have commented, I also have found some of the employees lacking in basic decent manners, not apologizing for their own mistakes, and acting like customers are ruining their day. I spoke with the manager, Gina, about this and she was pleasant and promised to speak with the offending employee...and also to make up for a price change that the cashier arbitrarily had made on one of my purchases. If you shop there and have a problem, take it to the manager before you totally write off this thrift store. There are some warm and well meaning people working there.

Very nice place very organized and neat and clean, you can find very nice items very quickly. The only draw back is the price is a little high for the economy of the community, its used and donated items its not like theyre manufacturing it themselves. Some items are higher than the retail stores they have the tendency to switch sale tags colors the day before their discount Wednesdays thats sad, but other that you can get some great deals for the buck just be patient when hunting.

This is one of the most expensive thrift stores Ive ever been in! There were so many purses and jackets in horrible conditions that were $24.99! This place prices things by the size, because shirts of the same type were at least a $5 difference because one was either a larger size or thicker. The price range for this place is scary and the staff arent exactly the friendliest people. It has a lot of furniture items though if youre looking for that.

Filthy, Hilariously over-priced, nothing but trash in this place, been here at least four times, came out with nothing, and thats unusual for me. Parking is metered, try side streets for free parking, but its hardly worth the effort. Try The Lighthouse Thrift Store up the street at 6515 Rising Sun Ave, theyre nicer.

Salvation Army had a 2 month waiting list to schedule furniture pick ups. I called IMPACT THRIFT STORES...google them. Proceeds go to 9 local charities and they will provide a receipt for your taxes. The best part, they need only 1 week notice. Same thing but quicker.

This is an average salvation army. I have found a few vintage t-shirts for $1 here, and they have some decent jeans for the price. Parking is metered, but very cheap. Shoes and housewares selection is not very good, and the linens are a but overpriced.

I have been coming here since before I was married in 1990. My 3 daughters are also fans of thrift-shopping at this store. The employees through the years have been great. There is a parking lot for customers out back off of Passmore St., too.

Should never be over priced, staff isnt customer service orientated, they have a turnover in staff. I thought they were supposed to help low income people to afford clothes, yet they keep jacking up the used gift donated prices. Ugh

I dont know what that other poor rating is about, but this place is great. Ive always been able to find pretty decent clothes here for a great price.

Only clothing with poor quality knick-knacks on a few shelved. Not worth the meter parking.
