Hello all, I just wanted to take a moment to personally thank NYC Harley-Davidson. In particular, I would like to give a HUGE thanks to Mr. Jim Holland who helped me with the purchase of my first Harley, an Iron 883. Jim is an OUTSTANDING sales rep who is a credit to the entire H-D organization. Helpful, honest, hard-at-work, knowledgeable, expedient and trustworthy are just some of the words that come to mind when i think of Jim. He did everything and anything to make the purchase easy and fun! I brought in a Japanese bike trade-in and have changed my entire riding style so little to say I was a bit nervous. NO PROBLEM... best riding decision Ive ever made. Not only is my new Iron 883 INCREDIBLE but every step of the way at NYC Harley was as well. I would also quickly like to thank Dave and Ed in service who helped set me up - some of the nicest riders Ive encountered. Id even like to say the ladies in clothing sales were great and very helpful (thanks Cheryl and Im sorry but I forgot the other ladys name). Id even want to thank the owner who helped me with my loan/lien release. Needless to say I AM PSYCHED to have had such a warm welcome into the world of Harley-Davidson. I will NO DOUBT be using NYC H-D and ONLY NYC H-D for my future Harley needs (including a 1200 conversion at some point, ha, here we go). THANKS TO EVERYONE AT NYC HARLEY-DAVIDSON, true professionals!!!

I Purchased my bike from them brand new. A 2012 Vrod Muscle loaded. They did all the work and accessories. Not everyone there is horrible some are kind and honest but the service department Manager and one or two others are less then honest and do not follow through on their word. I specifically asked them not to do anything that would cost me money without calling me first. 700.00 Later I was threatened and told pics of my bike would be taken and sent to Harley to void the warranty and they would put a lien on my bike and rack up the fees if I didnt pay. I never signed anything. They ripped me off. They also were the ones who installed all those parts on the bike they were going to turn me in for. GO to any other dealership. I was actually told "You only want to come here when you need something." Ive spent 4500 plus on accessories. The bike has 3k miles on it and it I got treated like dirt. Ive never been treated so badly. People say buy American and when you do your treated like Its the biggest mistake you could have made. DO NOT USE THIS DEALER!! 400 THEY CHARGED ME FOR A BLOWN FUSE. Im serious. Giant scam.

These guys will nickle and dime you however possible, and do as little work as possible in the process. Brought my bike in for a damage estimate. I told them everything I saw wrong, expecting that they would find other things for the adjuster. I even got them the part numbers....they didnt even turn the bike on and after the fact Ive now found other parts that were damaged that I have to pay out of my own pocket for damage that was 100% not my fault. On top of this, they make everything sound like a real chore, are pathetic about getting parts in when other dealerships have them in stock or can get them quickly to actually help you, and then to top it off charged me to "store" my bike for a few days a rate that would make any garage in Manhattan jump for joy. Lazy lazy lazy POSs. A Stealership in every aspect of the word. Go somewhere else, like Miracle Mile HD or Bridgeport if you can. Cant insist enough.

Absolutely horrible service department. I had some minor work down on my sportster and the entire process was a nightmare from start to finish. This was my first time at this service department and will certainly be my last. Ive had great experiences with other Harley shops, although expensive, the customer service and quality of work has always been top notch. But not so much for this shop... From the condescending staff, to inconsistent scheduling and an overcharged bill; it was just a terrible experience. This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had with a dealership or sales representative. Do yourself a favor and stay away far away from this service dept. There are many other great mechanic shops around the city.

Who ever giving this dealership a good review must be there own employees or good friends. ..Ill tell you about my premier experience it was a disaster and still is they had my bike in the shop for 9 full days tried charging me for things that I am warranted for that I had to fight for and then for the main reason I went there for was never fixed correctly that my bike had two be towed back then when you call or try to call you cant ever get through to them the service manager Ashley hangs up on me after not even satisfying me with an answer for what is actually wrong with my bike they make it out your the bad guy.... do yourself a big favor dont bring your bike there trust me

I have to thank the fabulous excellent service I received this week . I own an old fat boy , Somewhere while driving lost the front brake lever handle ,and to top that the spring of the stand flew out too Bearly made to the shop ,arrived just 5 minutes before closing , Was greeted very nice by the sales lady . She was so helpful , quick and profesional . The mechanics were awesome , even though they were wrapping up . They kindly helped me by fixing the bike so I can drive safely home . Free of charge . Now thats service on another level . Ive been riding long , never to be treated so kindly in any Harley dealer . Keep up the good work Thanks guys Pura vida Sol

I hope I get what I paid for! Went on line to order a t-shirt for my friend for Christmas. Told them their site wasnt working and then they started playing ping-pong ball with me tossing me back and forth until the woman finally told me "the person in charge of the site wasnt available" and to try back later because she was "swamped." What?? My cyberspace money isnt green enough? I managed to figure it out "myself" and ordered the shirt. I lived in NYC for 5 years and thank God I moved because I dont miss the ATITUDE! Unbelievable!!

Wonderful Service Department, Retail Department Not So Much. The Good: If you need your bike serviced go and see Rich and he will make it happen. Rich is very knowledgeable, honest and professional service representative. The bad: Retail; General Merchandise Manager Mr. Erik Alvarez Return Policy: BUYERS BEWARE; NO RETURNS ON ELECTRICAL PARTS. 20% RESTOCK FEE ALL ITEMS. NO CASH-STORE CREDIT ONLY. NO RETURN AFTER 30 DAYS OR W/O RECEIPT AND ORIG PACKAGING. In other words: Buy your gear and accessories elsewhere! 2014
