Owner recently started law school and it seems to take priority over customer service. I would rate negative stars for this business if possible! Seems he is more interested in school than meeting the delivery deadlines he tells his customers. OCT 2011 - Was told "a week or so" for delivery for a new scooter that was PAID IN FULL (in Sept 2011), figured that meant 1-2 weeks, it has now been 4 weeks. Scooter was delivered to the dealership earlier this week and we were told we would be able to pick it up today. But the scooter wasnt registered yet, and no one made any effort to get it registered today so we could pick it up as we were promised (the DMV is ONLY two blocks from the dealership). Repeated attempts to contact the owner to see if it would be ready or not were unsuccessful. UPDATE 03/12 - Like an immature child, the owner (Peter) has continued to harass my girlfriend via email and phone calls because of this negative review. Some of his comments are way over the line. He offered a discounted first service to try and make up for his short comings with delivery, but the discounted price he offered was more than the shops in Burlington and the Hudson Valley charge... and the fact that he thought we were too stupid to figure that out is just insulting. When we declined his offer, he said he refused to service the scooter unless this review was removed. Then he claimed that he was the only person with the special tools required to service the scooter. That was a flat-out lie, there are no special tools required... a basic wrench/socket set and some feeler gauges... all can be purchased at your local AutoZone. He has no further business with me or my girlfriend, any further contact will be considered harassment, and I will get the Schenectady Police involved. The emails he has sent will provide more than adequate proof of the harassment. There is no reason for further contact. You dont want negative reviews, grow up and treat your customers better! UPDATE 03/12 PART 2 - After my update earlier, the owner added a new response... you can see he clearly doesnt even know what hes talking about! They DID NOT have this scooter in stock. It was PAID IN FULL when it was ordered for my girlfriend. On top of everything else... HE REGISTERED IT WITH THE WRONG ADDRESS! This guy cant even keep his story straight, and hes obviously lying to cover himself. Do not do business with this man! He cant even read where it says the review is written by "Thomas"!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE PART 3 - Read his idiotic response and decide for yourself. Why would anyone want to do business with such a sketchy liar?! HE STILL CANNOT FIGURE OUT THIS REVIEW WAS WRITTEN BY THOMAS (OR SPELL MY GIRLFRIENDS NAME CORRECTLY). PLEASE ACTUALLY READ MY REVIEW BEFORE YOU RESPOND AGAIN PETER! If you cant take the time to read and comprehend this, how could any potential customer have much faith in your abilities or intelligence?? I also find it funny that some of the positive reviews are clearly from Peters own family... like his father, Rocco. BTW - why is your business listed in these categories: Lodging, Real Estate, Restaurant? You dont offer any of these things...

I bought my Vespa from them in 2009, and they helped me through the process. There were a few falters where I didnt know that I had to send them information that slowed me down a bit, but generally they did their best to get me my scooter as fast as they could. ---- In the intervening three years, Ive put about 4700 Miles on my GTV, and Ive gone back for my regular scheduled service. They have been very accommodating of my odd schedule, and I havent had any problems with them. I havent had problems with responsiveness, and I even chat with the owners occasionally who keep up with me, and how my Vespa are doing. Overall, I think they do the best they can to provide excellent customer service. What more can you ask for?

I am a big supporter of local business. Vespa Schenectady really adds dimension to the areas revitalization and offers a sweet economical ride to boot. The guys here have a great passion for what theyre selling and continue to expand their products and service. They are more than willing to go the extra step to help their customers-- I wouldnt hesitate to do business with them! Will be stopping by soon to gear up for the start of the season.

I called them about an issue with a windshield that was believed to have been purchased through them and they went above and beyond to get me in contact with the manufacturer after my attempts failed. If most owners were this interested in assisting people without expectation of any financial gain, the world would be a greater place. I truly appreciate the assistance I received.

I PURCHASED MY 2012 GTS 300IE FROM PETER AND MY EXPERIENCE WAS 110% AWESOME...!!! FROM INFORMATION PRE-SALE TO SETTING EXPECTATIONS AND PROVIDING THIRD PARTY RESOURCES FOR LOCAL CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES, PETER AND HIS DAD WERE TRUE PROFESSIONALS. YOU CAN IMMEDIATELY TELL THEIR COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE AND TO MAKING SURE THAT YOUR PURCHASE IS THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOU....... GT

Im really glad the brothers love for all things Italian has translated into a Vespa dealership locally. They sold me both my Vespas and even rallied their dad to help get my second Vespa to me. Its great having them here to organize rides and service my ride if needed. Theyre a very accommodating group. Keep up the good work, gentlemen!

Getting to a Vespa was well worth the 2 hour drive. The dealership was small but the selection was expansive. Peter (owner) was very informative and answered any question I could think of without missing a beat. Great ambassador of the brand and I have no doubts about bringing the Vespa for services as the dedication is obvious!!

This small shop is run by amazingly bright, energetic staff, it does help they sell a great product. They are incredibly insightful and understanding of their products and their clients. Ive recommended them several times since visiting. If you have ever thought about a scooter, go visit these guys.
