I have only had my bike here in Albany for about a month, so when it came time to do an oil change, I was looking for a place to pick up some motorcycle oil. I read several negative reviews of Albany Honda here on Google Maps, but, it was the closest store around, so I went. Man am I glad I did. I was prepared for the worst, but when I walked in I was immediately greeted by both guys in the store. Within minutes we were chatting about my bike, the 4th of July weekend, and what kind of oil would work best for an older Honda with ticking valves. The price was very reasonable for the oil - as reasonable as motorcycle oil prices can be, anyway. On my way out, I mentioned that I had a binding throttle cable that was causing me some annoyance. They told me to bring the bike back to the garage, where Brian (or Bryan, I apologize) adjusted my cable and glanced over the bike for any other obvious problems. Despite efforts to pay him, he required only my promise to ride safe. I was a little nervous after reading other reviews here, but I will DEFINITELY be going back to Albany Honda.

I have never bought anything form this dealer until last August when i purchased my 08 400EX quad. WOW was i surprised. Joe,Andy and Brian know the product as well as treat you like a life long friend. I can honestly say that these guys are great to deal with and will always go out of the way to help you AFTER the sale without sticking it to you. Its always a pleasure to go in and they remember your name and what you bought and how everything is going with the purchase. I could have saved a bit of money by going to Troy City Garage but the staff over at that dealer is rude and could careless about you as a person ( They seem money hungry and very out of touch with customer service). Thank god Albany Honda is not like that. Will definitely do business with them again and have referred numerous people to them for all of the above reasons. Keep up the good work guys!

I wish there was a zero star option - Joe is the most rude, obnoxious, pushy salesman ever. He tried to sell us a 6k quad that wasnt what we wanted because he didnt have what we wanted. I wanted an automatic and he told us that I could buy the semi automatic and just keep it in 4th gear - pretty much suggesting that I burn my quad up. When my boyfriend called him out on it he called him an idiot, my boyfriend is a diesel mechanic and is far from an idiot, especially about anything involving a motor. That guy is an ignorant jerk and I would NEVER suggest that anyone purchases anything from him ever. Especially if you arent 100% sure about what want because he will tell you whatever it takes to get you to make a purchase. And PUSH YOU ON IT. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!!!

Extremely rude and condescending attitude. Had worked with other dealers that didnt even sell Honda that were more helpful with my Honda motorcycle then them! This business seems to be only interested in selling you something new, I couldnt even get all my questions out, without them just saying "nope, not available" and hanging up the phone on me. Apparently they dont think establishing a relationship with a customer who is working on a bike and who will most likely buy another bike in the near future is valuable to them. This dealership is 20 minutes from me, I now travel an hour to a dealership that is helpful and pleasant to the customer. Additionally, the part that I was hastily told was unavailable, was in stock at this other dealer.

I restore old Hondas ATC and dirtbikes, I have dealt with just about every dealership from NYC to plattsburgh, I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN IF THE STUFF WAS FREE, this is the worst place I have ever been to, you get better customer service from the homeless asking for change. JOE FARINO is RUDE, doesnt care about customers, talks bad about people when they leave saying things like "Cheap mother******" and this is not being written in the heat of the moment. I wouldnt go there if the stuff is free terrible customer service bigger selection of parts can be found at just about any garage sale prices are higher then most dealers and parking is bad

Im very surprised at all the negative experiences others have had with Joe and Albany Honda. I bought a motorcycle from them 3 years ago, was very pleased and Im going back for another one. Joe is a kind soul and he genuinely cares for the safety and satisfaction of his customers. He always remembers my name and seems happy to see me when I stop in for parts. Dont let the reviews deter you from going to Albany Honda, Im sure theres thousands of happy customers out there like me. They just didnt bother to share their experience here. Be safe out there everyone :)

I would never buy a thing from this dealer. I say this because I was interested in purchasing a new cbr 1000rr and I wanted either the red/black or the all black and they tried to tell me that they didnt make it in either of those colors...... I figured that they just told me this hoping i was dumb enough to not have done my research. Which was not the case, they told me this because they didnt have either color in stock and wanted to sell one that they had. A dealer that lies right to your face is not one I will ever do business with.

Called today to order a tire for my bike and he quoted me 225 for just the tire and wanted a $100 to put it on!!!! This guy is on crack.. I called griffins motorsports and my tire was $200 and that included them taking the rim off the bike, mounting and balancing it and then putting it back on.... I deal with customers everyday and this guy is a pig for money.... Never dealing with them again.......save yourself the time and money and go where the place actually cares about their customers.....

Over the course of 2-3 months I contacted Albany Honda repeatedly for a specific generator. Each time I called, staff said they were expecting them in within 2 weeks and to call back. Today was the last time I called, and was informed they werent getting any until the Spring and that they never carry this generator. I believe when someone calls about a specific product, a vendor should not be dishonest and lead the consumer on. I would NOT recommend this company.

I am not a customer, but I made a very polite sales call to these guys. Just hung up on me. This never happens at MC dealers. So I would believe the rude comments. Takes one second to say sorry no need/interest. Its a business. not calling the guy at home during dinner to sell him something useless. I ride and live in NY but I wouldnt buy anything from these guys that dont respect other people trying to do the same thing as them, Business.

I have been dealing with Albany Honda for many years now, Joe is one of the most kind, funny and just overall a great salesman. The negative reviews are not true, he has never pressured me into buying anything nor has he called me names. I feel the service is great and they always want what is in the best interest of the customer. I have and always will continue to shop at Albany Honda, best prices around. AMAZING BUSINESS!!
