I used to go to this pet store often because there were no other neighborhood choices that I knew of. I now instead just buy everything online. I usually go there every month needing the same things, 2 boxes of cookies and a large bag of Lamb and rice flavored dry food and every time still manage to have a bad experience. For starters there is no parking and when I say no parking, I mean good luck finding a spot closer than 2 blocks away. Second, I know a small store like that needs to make money but when they price food $3-$4 more than all other places, it annoys me. The workers there are all rude. I once purchased a whistle that only dogs can hear, and they had two types a bigger more expensive one and a smaller cheaper one. I bought the cheaper one and when the woman scanned it, the price of the bigger one came up and when I told her it was wrong she started arguing with me. That happened a while ago, but she still works there. The people there are just not kind except for one bigger woman that works there. The store is also extremely dirty which I think if they put a new peel and stick floor in and painted the walls it would look much better, but for now it just looks like they have never cleaned the place. And now for the number 1 thing that annoys me more than anything, is that they write the prices in black magic marker of each rawhide on the rawhide. I dont want my dog chewing a bone that someone wrote all over with magic marker. I hate giving bad reviews to any local business, but this one really is terrible. I would not recommend at all.

I got my two dogs groomed here for the first and the last time-- one of them came back w/ what the groomer referred to as a " little nip" which I thought was an exterior cut on the skin. Came home to find out that the "little nip" had cut through entire layer of the thick skin, that a puncture about an inch long is showing her inner flesh. I took it upto the owner to resolve this matter by reimbursing medical bill for getting sutures, but the pet store owner would rather wait until he confronts his employee(groomer) 2 days from now, to wait and find out "her side of the story" when she comes in for work. Does she not have a phone? I guess my dog(their customer) in pain does not mean much for them. Hmm.... rather an unapologetic and unprofessional response to a pretty bad mistake the store should be responsible for.

A neighbor recommended that I go to them to groom my puppy and they gave him the worse hair cut ever. I could have stayed home and did that myself. First, I called and the person who answered the phone said $25-35 for a puppy when I went to pick him up they charged me $50. You have to pay to get your dog back from them. When I complained they did not reduce my bill, they simply told me that the person on the phone should have not have given me a quote. There was another woman who was making the same complaint when I was there. My pup was totally unhappy when I picked him. I dont know what happened when i wasnt there but I do I know this....he will never go back there.

Aside from the fact that this store no longer carries the specialty brand of cat food I was using, the staff has been consistently dismissive, haughty, and rude, including the owners. Because this was the closest pet store to my home, I reluctantly used them ( and was aggravated every single time I was in the store), but now that I have an excuse to find a new pet store that stocks my cat food, I will happily go the extra distance to deal with a cooperative and respectful staff. (and they will not order it, by the way)

Ive been shopping there for over 20 years. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. This is the place to shop for your pet. They carry most brands and for different budgets. It is the only place I trust to buying my pet food for my dogs and bird. You get what you pay for.

Local small business with plenty of options for pet car. NOT A PET STORE! Pet supplies only. They have a groomer on site and support other small businesses such as pet training and pet sitting services advertised by business cards available on the check out counter.

Im really going to miss this place. Before I switched to raw I would come here becauzd they had a wide selection of holistic foods for my cat. Reasonable prices and the service was great. Sadly they are closing down the store in September.
